A perfect ending to a wonderful day .... sunset up at Gremiotissa. While I was in the port, I bought my ferry ticket for next week .... I'm so loathe to leave the island. However rain is forecast for next week, so that might make it easier. It's been an incredible month here & I won't be away for long .... even so .... View from my rooftop. Somehow I didn't go for a stroll round the village, but got lost in wonder gazing at the sunset 🌅 from my rooftop. Truly a feast for the eyes. Sunset down in the port. Had a wonderful day: met up with friends at Aphrodite restaurant & had a lovely meal & get together. The restaurant was packed and a large group of locals were celebrating some occasion. One of them started playing a Greek instrument & a woman got up & danced - it was a great afternoon. Our table consisted of foreign born long timers, however we never felt excluded in any way. It's lovely to be able to mingle & feet welcome. On social occasions you may congregate in "tribes" but there aren't barriers or walls between us.
