Day 85 Well, 90 days is approaching really quickly! I said I wouldn't weigh myself until April 5th... but I sneaked a peek. I won't say how much I weigh but if I can shave off another 2 lbs within these 11 days (since yesterday) I will have lost 30 lbs in three months! While I do not have an exact "goal weight" I do feel like I'm about halfway "there" (wherever THAT may be). I don't know what it will take or how much I'll weigh or what size I'll be... but I'll know when I get there. What I do know is that I'm dedicated, I can't fail, and I'm making these positive changes for life. I'm going to keep pushing until I feel my absolute best, then I'll keep my new habits and make a conscious effort to stay "there" forever. ☀️☕️
I didn't officially weigh in today...but I peeked and I found this drawing which I think pretty accurately represents how I'm feeling this morning ☀️☕️🙌💪
Day 68
My body basically threw a fit yesterday. I was fine the day before and I feel great today, but yesterday it was like I was coming down with the flu. My only symptoms were fever and fatigue and loss of appetite with a touch of occasional nausea. Nothing came of it! I kept expecting it to get worse but I just got stuck in this weird fever and fatigue limbo. So, I took NyQuil and passed out. Woke up this morning feeling like a budding spring rose, well, after I showered off the fever break sweat residue. I have no idea why this happened but I'm going to assume that my body really likes the clean diet and I haven't been very strict over the last 4-5 days. So, I'm laying off the steak and eggs and California rolls for a little while and getting back to basics. Bell peppers stuffed overflowing with veggies and turkey sausage and brown rice for dinner!! All raw vegetables and maybe some pistachios for lunch. A piece of grainiac toast with almond spread and honey and an apple for breakfast. Three cups of green tea and a ton of water today. ☀️☕️
Calories burned 🔥
I am keeping a calorie ledger as a guide while I am learning and adjusting to this new lifestyle and while weight loss is one of my goals. Here is a great article on why I do not count calories burned in the gym. Food is not a reward, success is. My workout has little to nothing to do with my weight loss goals. I KNOW I'll lose the weight with clean eating. I want to feel strong and fit. Not just slim. Two goals, one body. https://www.google.com/amp/vitals.lifehacker.com/why-tracking-calories-from-exercise-may-sabotage-your-w-1702505447/amp?client=safari
Day 2 back in the gym. Is it possible for my muscles to be pissed off and celebrating at the same time? Because it certainly feels that way. ☀️☕️💪
Day 45 I am taking “Rest Day” very very seriously today. Oh, and it’s raining. So perfect 😴All of these dull aches from my 356 minutes this week just make my amazing bed all the more comfortable. I’ve been glued to it all day. So, in about 3 minutes I’m going to have a huge breakfast, a cup of hot tea, and then probably another nap. I really love Day 45 🌧☕️
Over the last two days I’ve eaten my lunches outside and they’ve both consisted solely of whole, raw foods. Today I ate a ridiculous amount of grapes 🍇 it was awesome.
