Her life was filled with ups and downs, and she had to learn to fend for herself at a young age. Despite her parents' repeated attempts to drag her down and neglect her passion for art, she was able to collect enough money over the years to establish her own tiny antique business. It was filled with little treasures that she had gathered. She had no idea that two very furious vampires were on their way to retrieve their engagement rings, which had been stolen from another coven and sold to an unaware buyer. Y/N had never believed in the supernatural, but with two captivating guys staring at her with glowing red eyes, she may start to.
The men did not expect to be so intrigued by this innocent human who was ignorant of their power. For some reason, they couldn't stay away and chose to add to their family of two, becoming obsessed with their new doll.
Y/Ns life had never been all rainbows and butterflies. Happiness proved to be difficult with unsupportive parents, always snickering behind her back, calling her old fashioned. She didn't know that her passion for antiques and history would result in her mom and dad letting her fend for herself. They wanted her to become a lawyer, a doctor, or even a boring accountant. Everything else was acceptable, but being into history and ancient cups, as they call them, wasn't. As soon as she turned sixteen she started working odd jobs, gathering enough money over ten years time, to be able to hold the key to her own little antique shop.
Staring at the tiny object in her hand, she couldn't believe how far she had gotten. Her parents were out of the picture as soon as she moved out, and she hasn't spoken to them in over five years. Not that she missed them, but it would be nice to rub it in their faces. They were so sure she would fail, end up working as a waitress, and beg them to help her out.
"You see me now, mom and dad?"
She knew she was speaking to herself, but it felt liberating saying it out loud.
With a sigh, she the put the key in and unlocked her own little safe heaven. The shop smelled faintly of vanilla and lavander, a combination Y/N adored.
The shop was just how she envisioned it when she was little. Deep brown wooden tables and shelves, beige walls with gold accents, unique lamps lighting the space up. They gave the room a certain glow, almost as if it was magical. She displayed the bigger pieces up in the window, other trinkets decorating the tables and cabinets. There was also one section where you could read the old scripts, enjoying a warm cup of tea from the vast selection she had lined up. The place was perfect.
She went around the front desk, grabbing a pair of scissors. There was one more box she had to open, and she knew what was inside. Her most prized possessions in the shop.
When she opened the lid, her breath got caught in her throat. The two rings were remarkable. With matching diamonds around the band, engraved along the inside with the same word - Fate.
They looked old, but not worn out. Whoever had them previously took good care of them. She almost felt bad about taking ahold of them, but the opportunity had been too good to pass up. She went to Italy in the spring, to a small town along the coast. When she entered the shop, it was almost as if she was drawn to the display box. There was a sizable dent in her savings after the purchase, but her happiness could be sensed from a mile away.
"Now where to put the two of you?"
Y/N wasn't sure if she ever wanted to sell them. It almost seemed wrong of her to do so. For now, they could sit in a glass box on her counter, open for her customers to enjoy. Satisfied with her decision, she left them there, moving along with her tasks for the day. She failed to notice the engraved words lighting up, almost as if giving a signal.
The day went by fast after that, exhaustion taking over her body. The official opening was tomorrow, and she couldn't wait. Now was the time to rest, so she quickly locked up, admiring her little shop for a second.
Lost in thought, she didn't feel the two piercing red orbs glaring at her from a distance.
The man watched the unsuspecting young woman, almost in shock with how beautiful she looked. However, no matter how much he wanted to sit and admire, he was on a mission. His husband will be overjoyed with the fact that he had finally found what they'd been looking for all these years. Soon, their rings will be where they belong, and they might even get a decent meal out of it.

"Thank you for your purchase! I hope that lamp fits right in with your living room. Hope to see you again!"
You wave at the woman and her young daughter, both with smiles on their faces. Today has been going amazing. It's been a couple of hours, and people were intrigued with your little shop.
After saying your goodbyes, you were left alone again. It gave you a moment to breathe, and just let it all in. You look over at the rings, twinkling in the sunlight. All day you've been glancing at them, almost as if they gave you energy. After sleeping on it, you decided that you were going to keep them.
You tap on the glass, a smile on your face. You were about to sit down, drink your cold tea, and enjoy some peace and quiet. The universe had other plans, and you heard the bell on your door go off. When you looked up, your eyes went wide.
The most beautiful man you've ever seen in your life just walked in. He was of short statue, but you could tell he was well built. His suite looked like it cost a fortune, but it wasn't one of those modern ones people wore nowadays. He fit right in with your shop.
"Hello there." The man's voice was smooth like honey. It took you a second to gather yourself, but you managed to pull it off.
"Oh! Hi! Welcome."
"Lovely little display you have there, I couldn't help but go inside."
You felt a sense of pride overflowing you. You managed to impress this ethereal man.
"Thank you. Today is opening day. Would you like to look around? Anything in particular that interests you?"
The man took a couple of steps towards you, his eyes never leaving yours.
"Well... I am into fashion, and I hope you have some pieces that would compliment my wardrobe. I am a bit old fashioned as well."
A man who loves jewelry? Interesting.
"I think I can find something for you. I have a few boxes in the back, let me grab them real quick."
You stepped over the counter, leaving the man alone. It gave you a moment to collect yourself. Your hands were shaking, and you couldn't believe the effect he had on you. You located the two boxes containing many pieces of jewelry, hoping some of them would please him.
"Here I am! You can take your time sifting through, it's..."
It seemed like he found what he was looking for, because your two precious rings were in his hand, face void of emotion.
"Sorry, those aren't for sale."
"Where did you get them?"
You were a bit confused.
"That doesn't concern you. Please, put them back."
The energy in the room shifted. His expression became stern, the two rings now trapped in his fist.
"Yes, it does. Where did you get them? Or better yet, how did you steal them?"
You gasped, placing the boxes on a nearby cupboard.
"Excuse you! I do not steal! I bought them completely legally! Now - Put them back or I'm calling the police."
He chuckled, rolling his shoulders in an almost threatening manner. You were starting to feel a bit scared.
"Listen up doll. These rings don't belong to you. It's best if you let me leave with them, and nobody gets hurt."
Now you were starting to get angry. Was he trying to intimidate you? He looked like he had a lot of money, he could easily buy any ring he wanted. With a huff you matched up to him, now almost face to face. He was taller than you, even though he didn't look like it from afar.
"No, you listen. The rings are not for sale. Get out before I make you. I am not giving them to you."
Nothing could have prepared you for the laugh he let out. It was like something from your deepest nightmares. It almost made you cower, but you stood your ground.
"Fiery, are we? Now, if they weren't so impornt to me, I'd easily punish you for your attitude. However, if I lose you, I lose them. I'm giving you until tomorrow night to willingly hand them over. After that, I'm changing the game, and you won't like it. Sleep on it, doll."
With that, leaving you more confused than ever, he put the rings back into the box, turned around, and stormed out.
"What the fuck?" Your heart was pounding, but you were relieved he was out. His words rang through your head, and you hoped he was bluffing. People tend to be crazy these days.
With a heavy sigh, you ajusted the rings back how they were and sat behind the counter. The day started amazing, but now you just wanted it to be over.

That witch. Hongjoong was furious. He shouldn't have trusted Wooyoung back in the day, now he would have such a hard time getting his rings back. Wooyoung was a powerful warlock, and he put a spell that made it impossible to take the rings without permission from their current owner. Hongjoong and Seonghwa were amazed by it, but they never expected to have them stolen when they went to fix the diamonds. They willingly gave them away, trusting the person to take good care of them, only to be disappointed when they realised what had happened.
Two centuries later, their search was finally over. Hongjoong wanted to surprise his husband, who couldn't get over their loss this whole time.
The little shopkeeper was a tough nut to crack, and Hongjoong's temper got the best of him. Now he might as well have lost the only chance of getting them back.
He had to admit, the girl was a beauty. Her unique looks made his dead heart skip an imaginative beat. That hasn't happened since he met Seonghwa, and a long time has passed since then. He had to put the confusing feelings aside because he had a more important task at hand - the rings.
One thing he loved about his husband was his perceptiveness. He could read anyone like an open book, and it came in hand when needed. Now was not the time for that.
"Where have you been sneaking off to these past few days?"
"Welcome home love! Oh it's good to be home, thank you!"
Seonghwa frowned and crossed his arms.
"Very funny Hongjoong. Now, spill it."
"I haven't been sneaking off anywhere. You know I like exploring in my free time." Seonghwa's eyes almost popped out of his head in shock.
"You? Explore? When have you ever done that? Apart from when I drag you around?"
"Have you no faith in me? Things change you know!"
His husband scoffed this time.
"Yeah, you've been the same for about five centuries, but go on. I didn't know we were keeping things from each other now." With that, he turned around and practically stomped up the stairs into their bedroom. The click of his slight heels echoed in their mansion, and Hongjoong sighed.
"Hwa, wait up!" He rushed after him, hoping he could set things straight.
His husband was a delight to be around, but his grumpy side could be unbearable. Hongjoong slowly opened their bedroom door and watched as the love of his life gazed out the window. His shoulders were tense, hair falling out of the otherwise pristine ponytail.
"Listen, love. I... I did something. I promise it's nothing bad!" He could hear him sigh.
"What? What could possibly be so important that you lie to me for days?"
"I found them, Hwa. I found our rings."
There was a crack echoing through the room as Seonghwa gripped the windowsill. He turned around and quickly walked up to Hongjoong.
"You what? Please don't joke around with this!"
"I'm not joking! I found them!"
Seonghwa looked him up and down, grabbing his hands.
"So? Where are they?"
"Well..." With s crestfalled look, Hongjoong went on to explain how it all played out at the shop. He didn't expect to get a smack to his head, though.
"You idiot! This is why you don't do things without me! How on earth are we going to get them back now? Cursed be that Wooyoung, I hate witches!"
Seonghwa was in complete distress. After all, the rings were a gift from his mother, and they held an even deeper meaning because of that.
"I'm sorry, I know! But we can come up with a plan! She hasn't seen you yet, maybe you can try?"
"Yeah, because two men going in for the exact same thing wouldn't be suspicious? Think about it!"
"I know... I'm so sorry."
Seonghwa sighed, completely worn out by the emotional rollercoaster. What intrigued him was the look on his husband's face. It seemed like that wasn't the end of the story.
"Spill, Hongjoong. What is it?"
The guilty man held onto his hands and cleared his throat.
"She... I can't explain it. You have to go see her. I was... Nervous. You know I love you, you know we never question our loyalty to each other. But this was different. You just have to go and see for yourself. The rings... They were shining Hwa."
Seonghwa's eyes widened. The rings were connected to him and his husband, and they could recognize their bond instantly. Seonghwa wasn't there, so what did they sense?
Who was this mistery girl?
"I think you're right Joong. It's time for me to step in. You did good love, don't worry."
Neither of them could rest easily that night, even after going out to hunt for their dinner. They only did that when they were extremely emotionally agitated. Hongjoong couldn't stop thinking about the woman, and Seonghwa felt uneasy. He would just have to see for himself tomorrow.

"And then he had the audacity to threaten me! Can you believe it Sangie?"
Your best friend gasped while perched on the counter, watching as you stormed through your shop, dusting away.
"Wow. What an asshole. He better not show his face around here again."
You laughed, turning around to look at him.
"You sound so weird. Anyway, I really hope he was just bluffing. It's a shame, he was handsome."
"It's been a while since you've had a boyfriend. Or a good fuck for that matter. It really is a shame."
"You know you amaze me sometimes?" He chuckled, jumping from the counter and coming towards you.
Yeosang has been your friend since you were about 10 years old. You were both shy, but somehow naturally gravitated towards eachother. Some would even say you were meant to be, but you always emphasized 'as friends'. His boyfriend Wooyoung would agree. They were an odd pair, but you loved hearing about their relationship.
It was fairly new, and you've yet to meet his boyfriend, but you could tell they were in love.
Yeosang patted you on the head before stroking your cheek.
"I know I do. But honestly, I hate seeing you alone. Now that Wooyoung is finally back from his trip I won't be around as much." Your eyes softened.
"Oh Sangie. Don't you worry, I'm a big girl. I love seeing you happy." He hugged you, and you closed your eyes as he stroked your hair. You were too comfortable to hear the bell on your door, again.
"Oh, I apologize. Am I interrupting something?"
Your eyes flew open, and you must have done something admirable for the universe to send two handsome men your way in two days time.
His blonde hair was tied in a half ponytail, his suit jacket embellished with glistening stones. His broad shoulders popped out when he crossed his hands behind his back. He looked regal.
You quickly detangled yourself from Yeosang, the both of you blushing.
"Sorry about that. Hello! How can I help you?" Your feet took you over to your counter, and Yeosang took a seat on one of the sofas, leaving you to tend to your business.
"Well... You see, you met my husband yesterday."
Husband?
"Oh, I... I've met a lot of people yesterday. Did he purchase something you'd like to return?"
He shook his head, a frown appearing on his pretty face.
"No, actually he didn't buy anything. I'm positive he was the only horrible customer you've had, and I deeply apologize for that. He can be quite rude when he sets his mind on something."
Oh.
It clicked.
He was talking about that man. How on earth were they both so ridiculously attractive?
You could almost sense what we was going to say next. His eyes went over to your counter top, almost freezing in his place when he spotted the rings.
"Can I... Can I please look at them? I promise, no funny business. I just... Please?"
You were in a tough place. On one hand, he was extremely polite, a big contrast from his husband. On the other, you did not want to get into another arguement over the same thing.
With a sigh, you reached for the box.
"You can look. But just to be clear, they are not for sale."
He nodded, his eyes gazing into yours so intensely you almost melted on the spot.
You slowly put the rings into his open palm, and you both shivered as your fingers touched. He was cold, almost freezing.
Seonghwa couldn't believe his eyes. They were finally back.
"I must say... The haven't lost their sparkle even after all this time."
You were confused.
"What do you mean by that?"
The man sighed before politely returning the rings into your open palm. With a pained expression he took a deep breath.
"Just to be clear, there is nothing I can do to convince you to sell them?"
You knew this was coming, but you tried to hide your disappointment.
"As I said to your husband, the rings are not for sale. I'm sorry, but I can't fathom why you'd want them do much. You can buy new rings anywhere you want."
Seonghwa glanced at the man behind him, sensing his gaze. He was looking out for the girl, and he almost felt uneasy about that. Who was he to her? Why were they locked in such a tight embrace?
"We don't want new rings. We..." He stopped suddenly, pinching his nose, eyes tightly shut.
"Oh for the love of God, I told him to wait in the car."
You frowned, but it soon all made sense when the man from yesterday entered your store.
"Sorry love, but you know I'm impatient. Did you get them?"
"No, Hongjoong, I didn't. And now I might as well give up."
Yeosang was now up from his seat, making his way over to you. Your starstruck expression made him worry.
"Listen fellas, I think she made herself clear. This is getting ridiculous."
Both men now frowned, and they stiffened when Yeosang put his arm around your waist. Seonghwa glanced at Hongjoong, and they could understand each other immediately. Something was up, and you had a greater impact than they could've anticipated.
Suddenly, you let out a gasp. The heat in your palm was getting unbearable, and when you opened it, you couldn't believe your eyes.
The rings were... Glowing.
"What the hell?" You were about to drop them when another palm gripped yours. Seonghwa made sure to be gentle, because he knew you were scared.
Yeosang took a step back, not knowing what to do.
"You see why we are so insistent? These rings mean too much to us. It would be best if you returned them."
Your eyes widened, and you glanced between the two men in front of you. Their expressions were gentle, almost pleading.
With a sad smile, you out the two rings into the blonde man's palm, clearing your throat.
"I don't know what that was, and I'm not sure I want to. There is clearly something wrong with all of this, but... Here you go. They are yours. Please, leave now, and don't come back."
Hongjoong gasped. "Don't come back? But we..." "Enough now, love. We don't want to make the pretty lady uncomfortable. Thank you, truly. You don't know how much this means to us." Seonghwa was quick to shut him up, putting the rings into his suit pocket. He grabbed Hongjoong by the hand, pulling him towards the exit.
Both men glanced back at you, feeling uneasy about Yeosang being too close, again. Your sad expression was painful to watch, and it was their fault.
Hongjoong tightened his hold on Seonghwa before clearing his throat.
"We will find a way to make this up to you. Thank you, again. We wish you the best."
You nodded, head hanging low. You couldn't watch them as they went out, the sound of the bell was the only indicator they were gone.
With teary eyes, you held onto Yeosang.
"Oh Y/N... I'm sorry."
"It's fine... I really loved those rings, you know."
"I know sweetie. But honestly, don't you think it was odd how they... Twinkled?"
You nodded, glancing at your empty palm were your most prized possessions sat only moments ago.
"It sure was..."
.
.
.
The ride to their mansion was silent. The rings now sat on their fingers, diamonds glistening in the sunlight.
Hongjoong gripped the steering wheel before glancing at his husband. He swallowed nervously.
"So... What do you think?"
Seonghwa looked at his ring.
"I... I don't know. It was odd. Almost as if..." He looked at Hongjoong, afraid of what he wanted to say.
"You touched her Hwa, you know what you felt. Don't hold back, say it."
"There was a spark. I always feel it when I touch you. It was light, barely there, but I know it." To prove his point, he took his husband's hand, lacing their fingers.
"You feel that Hongjoong? It hasn't gone away since we've met. Now I felt it with her. What are we going to do? She's human for God's sake! And we scared her!"
Hongjoong tightened his hold on Seonghwa's hand.
"Calm down love. We'll take it easy. If we are both sure there is something there, we have to be careful. Let's give it a couple of days, and then make a plan. I have to be honest, with that boy next to her, I almost lost it."
Seonghwa chuckled. "Oh, I know how possessive you can get. You held back today."
"Well imagine me scaring her even more with an outburst. I have to be careful."
The men looked at each other and smiled. The most important thing were the rings, and now they had them back. However, the lingering feelings towards the pretty girl were confusing their minds. They thought they would finally be able to rest, but life had another thing coming for them.
The just hope they will be able to make her like them.
Hey loves! This is the first part of the series, and I hope you like it! I decided to make it a multiple chapter fic, because putting it all in one imagine seemed too much. Stay tuned for the next chapter to see how out vampire couple try to impress their new obsession.
My brother's watching yellowjackets and I'm watching supernatural and. Just the idea that he's watching the toxic-yuri-matriarchy-cannibalism show while I'm watching the doomed-yaoi-misogynist-incest show. And we're girling over Sophie Thatcher and Jared Padalecki. Maybe life is good
