Heyya Sage. Still working on that AU I asked about before (I've currently dubbed it "Siffrin Awareness"), and had a general idea about how I wanna tackle it.
The premise is the player is a lonely, sickly paitent who loves RPGs gets a copy of a game called "Saviors of Vaugarde".
After starting it up and playing through ACT 1, the paitent unknownly makes their own wish the same time Sif does, basically allowing Siffrin and the player to communicate with each other... Though they both remain unaware until ACT 2, and as Siffrin wakes up, he hears the player complain about the cutscene that lead to their death, reseting all the progress.
Then the player tells Sif to calm down when he starts his boulder rant, and cue Sif finally realizing someone else is there...
And that's the story concept so far! I do wanna see how Sif's self worth wobbles against a being greater than himself that can read his darkest thoughts yet just wants a friend, with Sif eventually mistaking some poor kid as his missing deity, yet at the same time wanting to be "free".
Suffice to say, he will have... feelings upon finally seeing the poor kid in person.
Tell me what you think? It's all early and all viable to change, but opinions are always appreciated.
Ohhhh they think the kid is like. The Universe?? That's a cool angle.
Can they talk to each other anywhere? Is it like the Call Loop sign? Or does Sif refrain in front of the rest of the party for fear of sounding insane. And thus chooses to only talk to the player when they're alone at the favor tree etc. Also how will Siffrin eventually see the player anyway? Does the Change God do that. In like. Who was the phone.
I really like the concept tho!! My comments are not criticisms but curiosity!! This sounds really intriguing!!!!
