The more I read the concept behind Beattie's Obi-Wan script the more I'm so very glad they didn't go with it.

I'm sorry, CodyWan fans, but the scene where Cody stalks him in the marketplace and corners him with a knife to "remind" him to be more careful - um...no thank you.

As hot as that sexual role play would be for them it goes back to this awful fanfic trope that the Jedi are incompetent and unable to take care of themselves and need the clones to step in and save them. And before you argue that Obi-Wan always takes care of others before himself, yes he does, that's true and on Tatooine he's protecting Luke - so, he already knows that to draw attention to himself draws attention to Luke and he would avoid it at all costs.

He doesn't need Cody to remind him of that, it just ends up making him look like an idiot with no real world skills.

I for one truly loved the show we got and this script (much like Duel of the Fates) would've been a big miss for me.

Sorry friends, don't get me wrong I enjoy a good CodyWan fic, but this doesn't even sound like a fanfic I'd enjoy reading TBH.

Regardless of how cringey you think the Gritshakka and love sick Jim episodes are, this is the true cringiest scene in all three seasons. Nothing can out cringe Jim here, not even Jim dancing (although he comes close). You will not change my mind on this!
