Her crimson ring was even redder, decorated with the blood of her beloved cousin. But it wasn't red enough.

No one knew how it started, and it was anyone's guess how the fight led to this moment--with the Red Lantern kneeling over Superman's limp body. It happened everywhere: she tossed him from Smallville to Beijing, he threw his fist into her stomach and sent her soaring from Moscow to Seoul. Little by little, the world laid witness to the battle of the Kryptonians.

But finally, the sibling rivalry settled in cradle of the world's savior, with her rage filled blows and his unmoving person. With each thrust of her fist against his face, the crater grew deeper into the asphalt. No one alive was oblivious to the shock waves.  

Eventually Superman vanished in a puddle of blood and mud, and only the girl emerged from the crater with red eyes. The words she muttered would reshape the world:

"This miserable little pebble is mine. And this day is the day you pay for the pain you've caused me."

Thalia screamed, tearing up. She didn't know if her cover was blown but she knew this guy hurt her little brother before.
