hii , i saw that u have a hope/superman dr and, well since the movie came out do you have any info on it or anything you can tell us?🫶🏽🫶🏽

hi! so i have yet to see the new superman movie in theaters (fingers crossed i can watch this weekend) and so my dr doesn’t have any established movie canon that i can pull from.

as for the memories and downloads that i’ve gotten for the reality, i come from a kryptonian sister planet where we were allied but engaging in a war with an enemy that sought to conquer and deplete our worlds of its resources. that caused a ripple effect of cataclysmic explosions across both worlds that led to there being zero survivors outside of us. but out of both planets, krypton was first to die and that delay in timing made all the difference when it came to each of us being sent to earth.

about a decade had passed in earth time before my planet was destroyed so clark is older than me despite us technically being born around the same time.

and we, ultimately, had very different upbringings on earth that shaped our worldviews.

while clark wants to be a hero and save people, i haven’t had the best run with humans so at the point of shifting in i’m neutral on them—at best— and, at worst, resentful of them. but because of our kinship, we’re kinda drawn together like magnets. where i go, he goes. and vice versa.

our powers are complimentary to one another. for example, where he has laser eyes; I have projected force fields. where he has telepathy, I have telekinesis. we both have super strength, durability, speed, flight, and stamina. and our senses are both enhanced.

we have a kinda cat and mouse thing going too. our tropes definitely lean towards sunshine (him) x grumpy (me) and golden retriever (him) x black cat (me). i’ve loved superman almost as long as i’ve loved wolverine and spider-man so i’m definitely very excited to fall for a brand new clark (christopher reeve and tom welling my beloveds!!) and who knows when i’ll sit down to actually sit there but best believe when it happens i’m telling ALL <3

on the topic of shifting for clark. i had a dream/memory. i found it cute so i sha'll share.

basically he came up to my desk at the daily planet randomly, holding out a baby stuffed panda lying on it's belly. saying he got it for me because it's one of my favorite animals, he knows i am obsessed with learning about and loving animals. however when i tell him i have no real connection for pandas, that i hate them which i said for dramatic effect i don't actually. his eyes got all wide and he turns around to where lois is at her desk. she's covering her face from trying not to laugh as he stammers at her "you said she liked them!" then he turned back to me wide eyed "i wanted to get you a different animal plushie from ones you may have already. she told me you liked this one, she lied! i didn't know! i am sorry, you don't have to take it."

actually no i will, thanks clark. i took it and named it clark junior, his dimples popped out at that. anyway, turns out the panda plushie is a real one. saw it at barnes and noble, i don't think i saw it before but who knows. i have him now.

also had a dream or whatever he tried to open a ramune bottle. pushed too hard and cracked the thing. crumbled it. sat there with sad eyes as i cleaned it up for him. he told me i didn't have to, that he was sorry. i told him there's nothing to be sorry for, i know where the cleaning stuff is that's why i am doing it. plus i gave him the bottle to try. he still basically stood in my way the entire time looking at me. cowering.
