Once a Mandrake has been plucked from the earth it will let out a deathly scream capable of causing extreme discomfort and disorientation to any in hearing range. For this reason healers and alchemists have opted to grow their own in a more safe and controlled environment. In the past they were once frequently found in the greenhouses of many wealthy medical practitioners in the Victorian era. ~The Burned Raven~

Dream a little dream of me ...

Let me tell you what, I’ve done nothing but dream all weekend! Dream about Jensen and Jared. 4 dreams back to back. So much J2. I had quality time with each. Jensen invited me to a fancy party. At the end of the night, he told me how proud he was of me for standing my ground and not to give up on finding what I’m looking for. He also told me I’m beautiful and should love myself more. “Your rose may have a lot of thorns, but it’s those thorns that make you who you are. (I woke up crying) Jared and I on the other hand was in bed. I remember seeing his face and lots of fluffy covers! He turned to me and said "you know your beautiful right?” Me: I bet you say that to all the girls. Jared “only the ones I see who need it the most. Which really is everyone.” When I didn’t say anything he took my face in his hands and said “you are enough for this world. You are important to this world. You are beautiful and this world needs that. Don’t let one persons opinion of you stop you from being the best you.” I woke up a crying mess again. So much love. ❤️😍😘

Gnawing at the Soul

I have encountered many nightmarish creatures in my travels, things that would make you question your sanity… things that make your skin crawl.

Ghost grubs are perhaps one of the most terrifying creatures I have documented. As their name implies they can not be seen nor touched by normal methods, meaning they can not be removed from an infected person physically and can only be seen in low light conditions where they glow an unholy green hue beneath the skin of the afflicted. Those infected eventually go mad as their soul is slowly devoured, becoming a mindless husk,

To my knowledge only a cleric or someone with divine influence can remove or purge a ghost grub from a persons body.
