Love the idea of Aaron seeing Andreil flirt and not knowing whether to be confused, grossed out, or concerned.
*The Monsters are all hanging out on a roof somewhere, Andrew threatens to push Neil off*
Neil: “I’d take you with me”
Aaron, internally: ‘what the fuck? what the fuck?? is this how they flirt? death threats??? should I be worried?’
Andrew: “103%, junkie”
Aaron: ???
Andrew: *says something in Russian*
Aaron: ‘please god don’t be a sex thing don’t be a sex thing don’t be a sex thing-’
Just like. Aaron being supportive but also very confused and lowkey a little worried that his brother is dating the son of a literal mob boss.
I wrote a fourth part of the To Those Who Wait series: Robert is being released from prison
Aaron has the steering wheel in a death grip, his knuckles are white and his palms are sweating. He glances to the right and swallows.
Robert is sitting on the passenger seat, staring outside, motionless. He hasn’t said anything since he got in the car. It’s unreal, being in the same car with Robert again.
The last time they were driving together, Aaron thought they were heading towards a future together in France.
He feels himself getting bitter again and tries immediately to stop that train of thoughts. What’s done is done, he reminds himself to focus on the present.
Robert is coming home. Robert is free.
