trying to do some form of like working out rn bc ive had two surgeries in the last year and while i feel great mentally, i dont physically so... writing based off that lol
141 boys x reader who's just trying to work out and is an idiot about it..
I discussed binders and trans tape with a friend last night and fell asleep thinking about the discussion and it resulted in the funniest dream I've had in a long time. Allow me to share.
In the dream I was on tumblr and saw a post that was like:
Reblog this and invent a trans masc guy in the tags
So I reblogged and tagged it with
#trans masc guy who doesn't wash his binder #it's not me #i've washed it 457 times #4'10"
and I reblogged it when it was really low notes and forgot about it but my reblog became the most commonly reblogged uh reblog(?) and it derailed into people just tagging it with how many times they've washed their binder and also adding their height??? (which is even funnier bc I'm not 4'10" ???) (and I also don't own a binder???)
anyways then I dreamed it came back onto my dash and the latest reblog was of someone on the post who had made a table of like
Username | Wash # | Height
and mine was at the very top like
missthesnow1533 | 457 | 4'10"
and THEY HAD CAPTIONED IT WITH
"The average trans masc does Not wash their binder 457 times a year, trans masc georg is a statistical outlier and should not be counted."
(And then they tagged it with)
#keep washing your binder short king
and it had been a long while since my first reblog - SO I reblogged it with a self portrait???? That I just??? Had on hand I guess???? Like sorta painted style of me shirtless and sporting top surgery scars and like. the hint of a phalloplasty scar on my abdomen (which is rly funny cuz I don't think I'm personally all that interested in phallo but whatever lol)
And added the caption:
"Happy to report that trans masc georg as a statistical outlier will not be counted anymore."
(And tagged it with)
#also I'm 5'2" now #not that it matters but yeah
and the person who made the table RBed it with a new table entry at the very bottom:
missthesnow | 0 | 5'2"
captioned with:
"The average trans masc does Not wash their binder 0 times a year, trans masc missthesnow is a statistical outlier and should not be counted."
AND I LAUGHED SO HARD I WOKE MYSELF UP
I do think about quite often (unfortunately) a post I saw by another trans guy a while ago complaining about artists who draw big, bold top surgery scars (specifically calling them "botched") and it's such a weird and awful thing to say to ppl. I had my surgery in March, I'm healed now, but my scars are very much visible. They're dark. They're stretched. They go far back under my arms and around my sides. They probably look that way because I'm fat. And I love them! I love how my body looks, I love my scars. I fought hard to get this far. Maybe it's not always safe for my scars to be visible, but I want to see them, they're proof of what I've gone through and they're apart of me. They've grown and will grow with me. They're not botched. They're perfect. They're everything I could have ever dreamed of and have improved my life more than anything else ever could.
Kitty helping Lance with his injections post top surgery
You hurt my heart.
(in a good way but still. Also I looked up serotonin syndrome and I have a large suspicion that it’s worse than the Mayo Clinic describes)
oh yeah i had serotonin syndrome due to a med fuckup a couple years back, can confirm it’s the pits. i got so loopy and overstimulated i tried to fistfight a dude, and i am Not prone to physical violence. mb held out for an impressively long time before going chimp mode
genuinely serotonin syndrome was one of the worst physical sensations of my life, and i woke up from my hysterectomy with 0 pain management. Google Your Medication Interactions
