Context: my English teacher gave us an assignment for valentines day. Write about two fictional characters going on a date. Of course, wanting to play on the goth and the cowboy trope, i chose arthur morgan and papa emeritus IV. It escalated, and i wrote my first fanfic to post on Tumblr.
Now, I'm fascinated with this concept. How would arthur interact with the ghouls? Would he want a second date? And can Arthur even be sent back?

This first one is based on the song “Spirit,” of course, and it will be accompanied by a brief text explaining its backstory. Both pieces revisit the 1920–30s poster style.

I miss the era of the internet where everyone had an evil alter ego/character that would show up on their channel, just to be silly, that eventually got a lot of lore from the fandom for no reason. It was a simpler time.

My original vision is the one I put above a sthe main image, but then I started thinking about swapping their outfits entirely..!!! so i had to do an alt.

the world will have to shift some things around, but pretty much Damien is the mayor of Lar's town. SPOILERS FOR BOTH THE SHOW AND MOVIE?!
Damien, being, the mayor of a small town, keeps hearing people gossip about lars behind his back. talking all kind of bad about him, names, whatnot. A funeral for someone on the council rolls around and damien needs to go participate. why not kill two birds with one stone at the church?
he chats with lars and is all sweet and stuff- and realizes- oh no, hes just super awkward and doesnt do well with conversations. damien falls first. lars falls hard just later.
OKAY AND NOW THERES 2 DIFFERENT PATHS WE COULD GO- ALRIGHT?? MY HEART CANT TAKE BOTH.
we go the one path where damien confesses first, and they date and its sweet, domestic fluff. Until damien gets invited to marks party... ya see where this is going?
so damiens dead. kinda. now we got darkiplier being, darkiplier. but hes still soft around lars- well as soft as he can be. thats where damien kinda comes to the front more often. lars is grappling with the fact that his boyfriend? dIED?? and came back wrong.
now we can go the other path, where damien takes a bit longer to get up the courage to ask lars out- when suddenly he's hearing about lars new girlfriend. bianca. of course, hes gonna support lars in anyway he can. hes helping, and hes there- but hes suffering.
theres like- a bajillion other things lairon and i have talked about- just because they could be so sweet together, and theres so much potential for like- everything. (not even DIVING into the siblings dynamic with gus, lars, celine and damien. not even diving into the fact that lars is religious and from a small town before gay marriage was legalized. kdjhlhfasjdajsfhad)
