Sweater, the song that started it all and the title of the EP 💿 This song will always stay with me and has surprised me with how much others seem to resonate with the meaning behind it, finding it relatable to them for one reason or another. For this reason I'm hesitate to share it's true meaning but I'll give you a glimpse behind my mindset while writing it. We all meet people in our lives that change us, for better or for worse, but I believe there's something to take away from every interaction with another. This song displays the internal struggle between wanting something more from someone else but with the acknowledgment that sometimes that's not always how life pans out. Sometimes we simply need to enjoy another's presence in the moment, without the worry of what's to come. Because in the end what defines us isn't another human being. We will always dictate our own paths and happiness, and if we meet others along the way that's simply an added bonus. But we can't always be reliant on another.
