Gift: Copy cat. Lets the user copy another persons gift for a set amount of time
Chiro is their fathers pride and joy. The eldest of his three kids theyre set to take over his business of running a gift hospital one day. Due to wanting to make him proud as well as other issues included chronic illnesses its led to alot of mental health problems with all the weight on their shoulders
As a person theyre quite shut off. Never having learnt how to socialise due to issues in their younger years they struggle to be around people alot. Horribly anxious and timid theyre not one to really speak back unless their anger gets best of them as they never learnt well how to control it
Overall just trying to manage to just. Be ok. Get by

implied murder, comfort
the metal of the blade clattered against the floor, followed by a shriek and shuffling of clothes. soon after, incoherent murmurs as she covered her mouth with tears welling in her eyes. the sight of blood and a human body was nothing new to her, but the thought that she caused it is what shook her to her core. her face was wet, though she couldn’t tell if it was from the blood or her tears. it was hard for her to see, her vision was blurred but that was the least of her worries. the echo of thoughts consumed her mind as they raced through at speeds where she could barely register what they were saying to her.
her father glared down at her, disdain in his eyes and a scrunched nose. his voice was heavy and commanding; cold and domineering, “pick up the knife.”
yet there was no response. not even a single movement from her. it was if she was a living statue, with the muffled cries and whimpers of someone desperate for their curse to be lifted. to be free. his gaze softened, observing his daughter’s condition. he gently rested his hand on her shoulder, quickly garnering her attention as she snapped her gaze towards him in an instant. fear in her eyes as she looked her father up and down. what was going to happen, was he going to hurt her for her reaction?
much to her surprise, his once cold and stern voice was replaced by a warm and comforting one, “are ok, my butterfly?”
all she could manage was a meek nod and a sniffle as she watched him kneel down to meet her eyes. he lifted his hand from her shoulder and carefully pulled her hands off her mouth before pulling her into a partial hug. she squirmed in his hold before eventually settling and wrapping her arms around him, softly wailing. her voice low and broken up by her sobs, “f-father, i want to go home—”
“shhh shh,” he hushed, holding her tightly as he picked up the knife, “i know, i know. let’s get you home and into bed, darling.”
she nodded and held onto him tightly, refusing to let go; she’d rather be carried home. and he obliged, albeit reluctantly. he struggled lifting her off the ground, considering her age. it’s not like she was a toddler anymore. despite the excess blood still prevalent on the blade, he sheathed it to give himself another hand to steady her weight on top of his and gently patting her back as she cried into his shoulder. he calmed her turbulent mind with a lullaby that he hummed; one that her mother used to sing to her when she was younger. her sobs slowly descended to stifled sniffles, nuzzling into the neck of her father for further consolation.
“…can we get ice cream?” she absentmindedly muttered, clasping tightly on his jacket. a sweet treat sounded incredibly nice at the moment.
he let out a heavy sigh, but playfully ruffled her hair. looks like he’ll have to find a parlor that’s open at this hour for her now, huh? “of course, let’s get you home and cleaned up first.”
the walk home was mostly silent, aside from the occasional sniffle from cho. she kept slipping in and out of consciousness as she fought her body’s desire for sleep, quietly asking how much longer it’ll take. he rubbed her back, cooing how they’re almost home and that she’ll have to shower when they get home. she tiredly nodded, doing her best to keep her eyes open; how late was it? she wasn’t that sure. maybe it wasn’t too late, but her exhaustion was eating her whole.
she must’ve dozed off because not a moment later, she was gently nudged by him and set on the ground. he ushered her to her bathroom, which she reluctantly went to after a moment of lingering around him. she gathered the clothes she was going to get changed into, and quietly entered her bathroom. her reflection stared back at her, though it was someone she struggled to recognize. their eyes were red and puffy, an expression showing their distress on their face. it was stained with dry blood, a light brown. her face contorted to show disgust and their’s followed suit. she shook her head and drew her gaze away from the glass; she has to stop dawdling and get cleaned up or else she wouldn’t get any ice cream!
stepping out of the shower and changing into fresh clothes, she once again looked in the mirror. now that was someone she recognized! she gave a little smile and her reflection did the same, which only made hers grow. holding her dirtied clothes, she skipped out of the bathroom and presented them to her father, who was waiting in the living room.
“uhm.. what do i do with-” she cut herself off, pausing. her smile fell.
noriaki stood up from the couch and gently took the clothes from her hands, shaking his head. he sounded a bit bemused, “let’s put this in the laundry room, for now. i’ll show you what to do later after school, okay?”
she nodded eagerly, swaying on her feet as she watched her father swiftly go in and out of the aforementioned room. her smile picked up once she saw him again and she started the bounce on her feet. the excitement prevalent in her voice, “sooo, ice cream time?”
“yes, hon, ice cream time,” he lightly chuckled as he ruffled her hair.
she grinned, happily bouncing around him before grabbing his hand and eagerly pulling him out. “let’s go, let’s go, let’s go!~”
“okay, okay-” he chuckled again, falling whim to his beloved daughter’s excitement for a sweet treat. she has really earned this one for what she’s done tonight. he let himself be dragged by her out the door before she stopped and turned to face him.
she held her hands out to him, making a grabbing motion. “piggyback ride!”
“piggyback ride-?” he echoed before shaking his head and offering it to her. “the things i do for you, spoiled runt.”
she only giggled in response as she latched onto him, resting her head on his shoulder. he carefully readjusted her weight to get a better hold, quietly sighing as he looked over at her. well, no time to waste now; let’s go get her what he promised her. there weren’t any parlors open, not at this time, but there would be convenience stores that would be open at the dead of night.
during the journey to the store, cho hummed the tune that he did to her earlier; her mind thinking on what kind of ice cream she’ll get. maybe peach… no, mango! no no, butter pecan! that one sounds really good, and she really couldn’t wait any longer the more she thought on it. her mouth was practically watering with anticipation. she excitedly told her dad what she wanted before continuing to hum.
by the time they made it to the store, she had fallen asleep on his shoulder. he got the ice cream flavored she wanted and made the purchase before leaving the store. not wanting to disturb her further, he walked back home with the treat in hand. when they made it back once again, the first thing he did was store her ice cream tucked away in the freezer before settling her into bed. as he pulled the blanket over her body, he kissed her forehead.
my first writinggg. i've never really seen specific names used in this communityyy, however i'm going to use character names and nicknames anyway as they mean a lot to the specific characters ! not sure how this works but screw it we ball
This alternate universe of sweet dango is ruining me.
( Keshuu Saki and Ichiro Saki belong to me )
( mentions of Cho Saito , Noriaki Saito , and Akio Ikeda , belong to kenzu )
"Shuu?"
his heart skipped and he jolted up in bed. it's dark out, and he cant grasp his surroundings just yet as the room was pitch black. his hands roamed to the sheets and ran over the folds, then to the blanket covering him and the pillow that was still warm where his head was laid. he's in his own bed, he can tell that, at least.
Fuckkkk, another bad dream. he rubbed his face as he looked around again, eyes adjusting to a room made just for him, yet it felt so foriegn at the same time. old broken toys of All Might on the dresser, soda cans on the desk, used clothes strewn lazily around the hamper as if they weren't even meant to be in it. journals of homework half off his desk from when he last attended class.
what day is it? c'mon, kesh, what were you doing last? why's your head aching so bad? he groaned as he went to rub his eyes clean of any residue of sleep, only to flinch as he felt the sensitive skin under his digits. great, a black eye too? guess highschool's just rough. getting to his feet, he wanted to turn the light on to get a better handle on what happened last.
he didn't make it to the wall. biting his lip to silence the cry of pain as he fell, one step on his leg was too much to handle. now that he was thinking about it - why had he used his left hand to rub his face, anyway? he reached with his right to check his leg, only to find a black boot mark strewn across his palm and an extreme aching in its wake.
keshuu was in his room. that was the real nightmare, to him. he'd spent the past several days, maybe it'd been two weeks, at his close friend's house, dreading returning home to the number one hero. his brother didn't take long to come when he heard the younger fall though, humming a tune their mother used to for them when they were little.
"fireworks? oh, you're up—"
"i'm down, actually, sunny."
Ichiro cracked a smile as his brother joked, he was always one for making light of the situation. crouching down to scoop his brother off the floor, the act only got keshuu to flinch and look aside, as he was set gently back on the bed. maybe things wont be so bad, maybe his brother already dealt with his mistake in more ways than one,
crunch.
he cried out in pain as his brother checked his leg, bending it in just the wrong direction to make him scream. yet, Keshuu stay put, stayed still, he deserved this, did he not? he had on simple job and he blew it. not only that, he ran away! quietly, his lips began streaming a flood of appologies, as if that'd stop any of what was about to happen. all the while, his brother had such a large smile, just like he does as a hero.
they both knew this wouldn't be a long term issue. that Cho or Akio would be none the wiser when he returned to school next week and plays the part of everything being normal again. that the new scars were in fact new, not just hidden old ones like the rest.
Sunburn is the number one hero, after all. he's granted the best healers in all of japan! and especially after that stunt with Number two, no one would bat an eye if Showgun, the obvious killer, was harmed in the Number one hero's custody.
