Siwoo: You know you're going on nineteen and I've never once seen you even look at someone romantically. Don't you think that's a little weird?

Wooju: Weird as opposed to what exactly, being half human?

Siwoo: You know what I mean.

Wooju: Barely *rolling his eyes and standing up from the table* I'm going to the bathroom.

Before Siwoo could say anything, Wooju hurries off. He's had that conversation with his best friend more times than he can count, especially since Siwoo had recently started dating his childhood friend. It was out of concern (probably). He wanted Wooju to be happy like him; he could understand that. Such a sentiment wasn't possible for someone like him though. Nothing and no one could feel that way about someone like him. That was something the ever-romantic Siwoo clearly couldn't understand. As he rounds the corner, (lost in his own thoughts) he immediately bumps into someone, knocking them to the floor.

Wooju quickly scrambles to his feet to help the girl up.

And as their hands touched and he looked into her eyes, for the first time in his life, Wooju felt something. The deep drumming of his own heart.

Day 1: Heart

Because I love Valentine's and just holidays in general and I really wanted to write something, I decided to turn @aliengirl February challenge into a short story. It is about an alien boy with doubts of love and a human girl with a warped sense of love... well... falling in love. I apologize because I know it's meant to be a cute and sweet challenge but it will have angst with a happy ending.
