These Rainbow Cake Pops are a fun way to add some color and sweetness to any celebration. Ideal for a celebration with a rainbow theme!
Ingredients: 1 box of white cake mix. Ingredients required for cake mix eggs, oil, water. 1 cup vanilla frosting. Assorted food coloring red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple. 1 package of candy melts white or rainbow colors. Rainbow sprinkles.
Instructions: Follow the directions on the package to prepare the white cake mix. In six equal portions, divide the batter. To create a rainbow-colored batter, add a different color of food coloring to each portion. As directed on the package, bake the colored batter in different pans. Crumble each colored cake into a different bowl after it has cooled. Blend every hue of cake crumbs thoroughly with a part of vanilla frosting. Roll small portions of each colored mixture into cake balls that are one inch in diameter. As directed on the package, melt the candy melts in the microwave or on the stovetop. Each cake pop stick tip should be dipped into the melted candy before being inserted into the cake balls. Make sure every cake pop is completely covered by dipping it into the melted candy and letting the extra drip off. When the candy coating is almost set, scatter rainbow sprinkles over it. To ensure that the cake pops fully cool and solidify, place them on a Styrofoam block.
