A delicious twist on the classic burger, these Shrimp Scampi Burgers are packed with savory shrimp cooked in garlic, butter, and white wine, topped with provolone cheese, and served on toasted buns with fresh veggies.
Ingredients: 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined. 1/4 cup unsalted butter. 4 cloves garlic, minced. 1/4 cup white wine. 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped. Salt and pepper to taste. 4 burger buns. Lettuce leaves. Tomato slices. Red onion slices. 4 slices provolone cheese.
Instructions: In a skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and saut until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes. Add the shrimp and cook until they turn pink, about 2-3 minutes per side. Pour in the white wine and let it simmer for another 2 minutes. Stir in the chopped parsley, and season with salt and pepper to taste. Split the burger buns and toast them lightly. Place a lettuce leaf on the bottom half of each bun, followed by a slice of tomato and red onion. Top with the shrimp scampi mixture and a slice of provolone cheese. Close the burgers with the top half of the buns. Serve hot and enjoy your Shrimp Scampi Burgers!
