Here are the prompts for Finn Week 2023 (September 17-23)!
Reminder that you can pick and choose any prompts you like - for example it's fine to draw fanart of a "general" prompt, and if you really like one of the art prompts, it would be fine to write a fanfic for it (or make any other type of fanwork!).
Audience challenges are for the whole week and you're welcome to download the graphic provided, check off the challenges you've completed, and upload yourself to show your progress :).
If you have any questions, please feel free to send us an ask, or join the Finn Discord (ask for an invite).
Full list of rules, and prompts and challenges as plain text under the cut:
Rules
Any type of content focusing on appreciating Finn is encouraged, fics, fanart, gifs, videos, meta, etc.
Gen, any shipping, nsfw, etc are all allowed, but please tag appropriately on Tumblr (eg. nsfw, gore) and ensure any 18+ content or fics over 500 words are under a cut. If you’re linking to a fic on an external site like AO3 with its own tagging system, then a cut is not necessary.
There’s no minimum word count/level of polish, or minimum number of days. Post for one day, post for all seven days! It’s up to you. Sketches, drafts, or other pieces you might decide to work on more later are also fine.
Late posts (not during the week or on the associated theme day) are also very ok
Please tag with #finnweek2023 if you want to be reblogged here. NSFW posts sometimes get hidden in the tags, so you can also @ us if you notice we haven’t reblogged your post. There will also be an AO3 collection available closer to the event week. You are also welcome to tag your audience challenge posts and we'll reblog those too!

Artist Finn working on a mural (that I didn’t have time to draw out). I imagine he’d do a lot of public art because he’s a good dude who wants to share art with everybody. I think this is the first time I’ve drawn him and been at all happy with the likeness
So I “had you two” right until I address the real reason this is a problem. Nice to know your priorities here.
But to you and to @maiauniversetime I’ll direct you to @2ndplacewins‘ reply because it covers it well and it’s too early in the day for me to be coherent:
Y'all it's racist not in the way that calling someone the n word is racist, but it reflects and perpetuates negative taught ideas we have about black men, like how they are more brutish than other races. Stop knee jerking when someone says something is racist try and put thought into it and research before calling them an idiot or yelling at them, especially when they weren't even being aggressive about it in the first place. It was all you that got overexcited
Next time, stop dismissing that something is racist when you’re told it is. Next time try sitting down, shutting up and maybe you’d learn something that would be of benefit in real life. If you’re interested in unlearning the racism we’ve all been indoctrinated with.
If not, please continue to act like assholes, that way I and others who do care know who to drag and block.
Also @diegohatake you’d do well to read this and stop talking out your ass.
Finn is the young and charismatic Prince of Venice. He’s been recently crowned after his mother's abdication. Despite being a fair ruler and well versed in the art of diplomacy, the Prince still has a lot to learn -- thankfully, his mother is there to advise him. Finn discovers that governing is not unlike navigating in a sea full of sharks, and if he’s not careful, he might lose his kind heart in the process.
