The "Schlössli" in Flims 🇨🇭 was built in 1682 by Johann Gaudenz von Capol (of the Flims family) who represented his country in Italy, Austria and England and served prominently in local government. The 'Swiss Room' that was part of it can now be seen at the Metmuseum

The stove (from Winterthur, important center for faience) is painted with biblical stories finding a message for christians. The commentary beneath the scene of Samson and the lion reads 'As Samson's lion gave honey after his death, so Christ's death brings us sweet life'
