Symphonix: A music based transformation!
Honestly I thought of the title first and just went from there. Each of the Winx gets a transformation based on a different genre of music! I designed Blooms first and gave her Orchestra, mostly because I wanted an excuse to put her in a pretty looking Opera dress. I still think it looks nice tho! Musa got C-Pop because of her East Asian coding, though I drew this one a long time ago and I can't remember why I insisted on incorporating a candy and gummy theme. Hmm. Aisha got Reggaeton because of its major roots in African diaspora. The first thing that came to mind with Stella was Pop but we already had a genre of Pop in the mix with Musa and I didn't want to be repetitive. I stumbled upon her look almost by mistake while trying to construct a reference for it in a character creator. 'What if Stella's look was a bombastic, over-the-top, stage look for a rockstar?!' I think it suits her. Tecna gets Techno. Because, duh. What else would it be? And Flora gets Folk Music because a lot of that music ties back to nature and has even been used for environmental activism.
