Most people are nice & mean welleven when loud or scary... We all need to be loud & scary sometime :3 I don think in words cos they're weird & limitd. it confuses Lilac ("MY WORDS!")

WORDS ar hard and Impercise. why would I rely on them? Maybe sometimes... I'm an adult. I'm a full grown kitty. But I'm small & act my species & I don't like words. we're pretty sure I was made from an event that happened @ 18. we got into warriors a little after realizing it was Sexuall Asult. Of course I'm cat. So I've beenn Worrying for a while

If I'm open about me, will people label me a "little"? & think I'm immature? Will I be forced into more boxes that don't fit based on who I am? or am not...

But most people are nice & mean well. even when SCARY. So I should assume KINDNESS and be myself. I hope others do the same.

Oh my phucking god dude we hate this guy so much.

So I have been friends with this guy who knew us before we developed the headmates consciously, and I sent a funny post I saw about someone's favorite bit being that they threaten to be the evil alter whenever something inconveniences them into a group-chat I have with my closest friends.

I have repeatedly told him that Willow is not evil, I have repeatedly told him this is not how systems work, and I have repeatedly told him to stop saying she's evil just because she is blunt about the fact that we do not like him, but he will not phucking stop.

I am getting sick and tired of him, but he is a core part of why my friend group came together, and because I am one of his few friends since people can't phucking stand him, I feel like I can't get rid of him.

I have wanted to cut him off for a long while now, and I am starting to think that I actually should. Half of the mods can't phucking stand him, half of my friends can't phucking stand him. I am keeping him around because one of my best friends is still on good terms with him.

He makes me want to strangle him.

Hi Anony! Silho 🏘️ here, though I speak for all of us on this. We are not; I'm in the mental health field and specialize in dissociative disorders (actually working on a book to help other therapists work with clients towards functional multiplicity, since we have the lived experience) and we just haven't seen any proof either in research or in clients that systems come about from anything but trauma. With clients and friends we've known, those who didn't think they were a system due to trauma had that belief while they were still in abusive/unstable situations (whether with their original childhood abusers or new ones) and/or dealing with intense emotional flashbacks (and thus still in an unstable situation, just internally) and as a safety measure their brain kept everyone from sharing how the trauma shaped them until they were in a safer situation.

I and Star 🌟 like to have the mentality that people are doing the best they can with what they have at the time, so we operate under the mentality that someone who sees their system as formed from anything but trauma is likely in a similar situation or dealing with some other harm that's causing them to seek safety in the idea of being me-but-not-me.

Not sure what made you curious, but there you go! Some of us are more aggressive about our stance on this, but we all follow this foundation.
