hello! do you have any experience with Prince Sitri?

So! Because of this ask, I was actually inspired to reach out and make an acquaintance with Prince Sitri. On my lunch break at work, I started writing a letter of introduction to introduce/present myself to him, but when I got to my name - it was like my hand was taken over. Sitri gave me a new name - not one I'll reveal, as it's a personal name, but he also told me his enn. I was blown away when I later saw his enn and realized I'd heard it from the demon himself (I've never seen the enn before). 

Later, I set up a ritual. I offered some water and chocolate along with my letter, and started playing his enn from a video. Now this is when things got even more intense. I'd already felt his presence during that letter, and a bit of poking and prodding into what I wanted from him, but this enn chanting meditation? It was like I was out of my body almost. 

So I talked to Sitri. He appeared as the leopard man to me, but asked if I wanted him to appear as the attractive man. I ended up choosing the leopard griffin. 

Before I continue - Sitri is said to cause men and women to love each other, and can strip them naked. For me, it was a much more spiritual sort of stripping. He took my doubts, my insecurities, all my thoughts and laid them bare. He confronted me with truths that I've been denying to MYSELF for months. 

So when I talked to him, I told him what I wanted - to experience him, to worship and work with him. This is the point where he offered me a working mentor relationship. I give him my secrets and he will help me work through them, and he offered - or rather, he pushed me - further into demonolatry when I've been skimming the surface. As you may know, my patron is Leviathan - and Sitri said that's why I would be great at some tough, harsh lessons; I already deal with the unknown and deep secrets, hidden knowledge. 

Once I started researching other demons, he decided to retreat, but left me with one last message: to reconnect with Leviathan. He said he would be back. I usually don't label deities as "beginner", or "advanced", but I WILL say that my experience with Prince Sitri was…in some ways, difficult. But it's a sort of "difficult" that I needed and will continue to need. The type of relationship he offered me is exactly what I need from the deities I worship and work with right now, and I'm very excited (and apprehensive!) to get started. (Or to continue, I suppose.) 

It also wasn't all bad - he told me/made me realize the good qualities of myself I've been pushing away for various reasons: the intelligence I have to offer. The intuition I've come to rely on but have been doubting. The kindness that I've shown to others. 

I'm not quite sure how to conclude this, but I will say my experience with Prince Sitri has made me intrigued to dive in further.

...ok, I can't help myself. Time to talk a bit about the Helluva Boss trailer for the remainder of season 2. Or well, about the Ars Goetia

Confirmation that not all goetia are birds! speaking of, it's revealed that the parrot-looking guy is Vassago (said by Adrealphus). And I deeply suspect that two of the other goetia in this screenshot are Raum and Sytry.

(note: there is nothing to say that the Ars Goetia in the Hellaverse will be all that similar to how they are described in demonology, but I think it's fun to speculate/compare regardless).

Vassago

(also Vasago, Usagoo)

Vassago is in demonology a Prince of Hell that is described to be "just and true in all his doings" and generally good natured (...for a demon. By human standards that would make him neutral more than anything).

"He can be persuaded to tell the magician of events past and future, can discover hidden and lost things"

What he is supposed to look like seems a bit unclear, but some versions I've found are:

Vassago appears as an aged man riding a crocodile and carrying on his right wrist a Goshawk. His eyes are hollow and see into other dimensions, but he is blind in this dimension.

or this:

"Vassago is known to appear in a beautiful form, often resembling a child or a young man. [...] His child-like appearance underscores his role as a seeker of truth, reminding us of the innocence and curiosity inherent in children."

....which seems kind of irrelevant as far as his appearance in HB goes lol.

Raum

P.S. this art piece doesn't technically seem to have been intended to be Raum, but it seems to fit the description of him

Raum is a Great Earl of Hell and is generally depicted as a crow.

"Raum steals treasures out of kings' houses, carrying them where he wishes, destroys cities and dignities of men and it is said to have great dispraise for dignities."

feels a bit ironic, since he's a noble himself. Especially in the context of HB lol

Sitri/Sytry

(also Bitru)

He is depicted as a humanoid lepoard with griffin wings ....wouldn't that just be eagle wings?

"He can force men and women to love one another and make them appear naked if the conjurer desires. He can also reveal the secrets of women, often mocking them."

There are other cat-themed goetia, but since this one has spots of a kind as well as wings, Sytry seems the most likely candidate – even if they have caracal-looking ears.

speaking of HB, it looks like Mammon is also at this meeting or whatever.

Which could mean that not everyone present actually are goetia, but it still feels likely that the others we see here are imo.

Edit:

The snake might be Botis?

He first appears in the form of an ugly viper but at the command of the summoner he can assume the form of a man with great teeth and two horns, carrying a sharp bright sword in his hand.

Edit 2:

And the grumpy looking bird on the far left might be Murmur?

Some authors portray him simply as a vulture.

though again....I feel like the designs in HB don't exactly always correlate to the ones in demonology lol.
