Taakitz Fake Enemies AU

Taako and Kravitz work for rival companies

Taako is forced to go to a function of some sort and wanders off to some off-room where he meets some very cute dude also hiding from the crowd

surprise! it’s kravitz

This goes well

Kravitz is sweet and dorky and utterly ridiculous

Very well

Taako is pretty sure he made a fool of himself but Kravitz seems to like it

So well that taako gives him his business card

Oh god. Oh no. They’re technically rivals.

HEres the thing: Taako can’t fuck this up because none of his romantic pursuits have ever gone this well but they’re both too high up in their companies for this to be anything but complicated

Speaking of complicated: They come up with a plan

What if we-- What if we pretend to hate each other, but then also secretly go out with each other? That works. That makes sense. This isn’t dumb or confusing at all. 

Animosity between the two companies is well known, with some very specific feuds between individuals

The Taako and Kravitz Feud soon becomes the most known due to the fact these are some over-dramatic theater kids hiding in responsible adult bodies

No one knows how it started. All they know is that one night, Kravitz and Taako emerged from a hallway in a very loud argument and have had an absolute chilly air about them ever since

They have started altercations in public that ended with Kravitz accidentally doing something to Merle’s sleeve that makes Magnus tear it off

Spend a good portion of their dates thinking of insults to throw at each other when they pass

There are, of course, functions where employees of both companies are required to go, and every time all eyes are on Taako and Kravitz

They are more than happy to oblige

One especially memorable time Taako took loose pudding out of his pocket and slapped it across Kravitz’s face

Taako really meant to tell Lup, but he was worried about what she’d think about him

Lup thinks the whole thing is hilarious

she makes jokes about the tension between them

‘you pushed him up against the wall by his collar like you were in vaguely homoerotic sports anime, koko, what am I supposed to think?’

Taako did get that from an anime

The first person to find out was Taako’s boss, Lucretia, when she caught them making out in a closet at one of the functions

She opened the door, took one look, sighed, then walked right out

the next person to find out was Magnus’ kid that Taako tutors sometimes through the power of deduction and also because Taako forgot to tell Kravitz they were skipping date night bc they were making macarons

they all ended up making macarons

Lup finds out when Kravitz gets stranded in the middle of nowhere on a business trip and Taako drives out to get him with Lup still in the car

(when the two businesses merge, they celebrate by walking into work holding hands)

“Oh hey I had to leave a house party a few blocks down pretty quickly and I realized I have no idea where I am and my phone is dead and I left my charger there do you have an outlet I can use so I can call someone to pick me up?”

(They’re both idiots so of course neither of them think to use the house phone and instead awkwardly wait until the phone is charged at a reasonable level)

What if there was like a Ratatouille au where Kravitz, garbage boy extraordinaire, finds himself being controlled by a rat who makes him cook real good and his begrudging teacher is Taako who threatens him with a knife constantly. The overhead chef bitch is Sazed because Sazed sucks and so does he and then in the end Kravitz and Taako get married and it's great

Quick Taakitz coffee shop au

WARNING : I’ve never written anything like this before

The early morning sun warmed Kravitz as he made his way to the Bubbling Pot. It was a familiar route as the place seemed to draw him back ever since his first visit. Plus he had to admit the coffee was quite good. Although the small establishment was a good way away from his apartment, the trip was almost always worth it.

He made his way down the winding streets of Neverwinter as the sun rose in the sky , it was a peaceful time to be out , no hustle and bustle of business people and anxious families trying to find a spot for lunch. Kravitz liked being alone.

The bell over the door tinkled as he entered the warm cafe and he let the rich scent of caffeine and fresh pastry’s wash over him, the shop was empty bar the elven barista slung over the counter. Kravitz didn’t recognize him ,”huh,” he thought “must be new”.

“Hail and well met stranger!” The sudden greeting bounced off the walls and startled Kravitz. “H-hello,“ he stuttered as he approached the counter. The elf was quite cute , he had tanned skin which was freckled , long curly chestnut hair tied back in a braid, his ears sported more earrings then he could count , he was tall but still shorter than Kravitz , about 5’6” and he locked eyes with Kravitz as he said “may I take your order Mr. Tall, Dark and handsome?”

Taakitz figure skating AU

Where they’re both pre-professional figure skaters Taako does pairs skating normally with Sazed but then Sazed backstabs him and starts to pairs skate with a rival and Taako’s coach recommends he take Kravitz as a partner even though Kravitz normally does solo skating. And at first Taako is against it because well, he hasn’t paid much attention to Kravitz skating but what he has seen their styles are VERY different. But then his coach has him watch one of Kravitz private lessons and Taako is ENAMORED and they have to learn how to work together and create a beautiful pair routine together.
