Mike not reciprocating Will’s hug at the airport. Mike not reciprocating Will’s playful shove. Will misinterpreting both actions and seeing this as a bad thing: feeling embarrassed and stupid.

Meanwhile, Mike is supposedly clueless to the way Will feels about him and has weird responses in both these situations seem to be because of a secret third reason.

We couldn’t be in more of a dire need of Mike’s POV.

Ok so I just saw some Byler scenes at the table read on the tl and:

1) Byler pipe scene: Millie winked at Noah

2) Byler field scene: Mike didn't know Will was flirting but Robin did, the push Will gave Mike was a "shut up" nudge, Mike wasn't weirded out and he didn't rejected Will in any way he simply wasn't aware of the flirting

Also Shawn Levy said that Mike and Will play a central role in vol 2 and vol 3 and Finn and Noah did their finest work

they said Will accepted his feelings for Mike at the end of vol 1 and Mike and Will are a duo in vol 2 and vol 3 and play a central role btw and Will's self acceptace arc ended in vol 1 now he's ready for a relationship with Mike
