Ingredients: 1 lb ground beef. 1 onion, diced. 1 packet taco seasoning. 1 can 15 oz refried beans. 1 cup salsa. 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese. 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese. 1/2 cup sour cream. 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro optional. Tortilla chips, for serving.
Instructions: Over medium-low heat, cook the ground beef and onion in a skillet until the beef is browned and the onion is soft. Get rid of extra fat. Put taco seasoning in the pan and cook as directed on the package. Put refried beans, salsa, cheddar cheese, and Monterey Jack cheese in a slow cooker in that order. For one to two hours, or until the cheese melts and the dip is hot all the way through, cover and cook on low heat. If you want, you can add sour cream and chopped cilantro on top before serving.
