Easy Beef Taco Stuffed Shells Recipe
Taco Stuffed Shells combine the flavors of tacos with the comfort of pasta. These jumbo pasta shells are stuffed with a savory mixture of ground beef, cheese, and taco seasoning, then baked to perfection. Top them with your favorite taco toppings for a fun and satisfying meal!
Ingredients: 12 jumbo pasta shells. 1 lb ground beef. 1 small onion, chopped. 1 packet taco seasoning. 1 cup salsa. 1 cup ricotta cheese. 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese. 1 cup shredded lettuce. 1/2 cup diced tomatoes. 1/4 cup sour cream. 1/4 cup sliced black olives. 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro. Salt and pepper to taste.
Instructions: Cook the jumbo pasta shells according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside. In a skillet, brown the ground beef and chopped onion over medium heat until the meat is no longer pink. Drain any excess fat. Add the taco seasoning and salsa to the cooked beef mixture. Simmer for a few minutes until the mixture thickens. Remove from heat. In a mixing bowl, combine the ricotta cheese, half of the shredded cheddar cheese, and salt and pepper to taste. Preheat your oven to 350F 175C. Fill each cooked pasta shell with a spoonful of the cheese mixture and then a spoonful of the taco meat mixture. Place them in a baking dish. Sprinkle the remaining cheddar cheese over the stuffed shells. Bake in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly. While the shells are baking, prepare your toppings: shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, sour cream, sliced black olives, and chopped fresh cilantro. Once the stuffed shells are done, remove them from the oven and serve hot. Top with the prepared toppings. Enjoy your delicious Taco Stuffed Shells!
