I'm sure he didn't mean to play this, it came on through the youtube playlist, as I roamed around on top, cuddling him. The song sparked something in me, as it does now. Drunken or sleepy texts from him, and yet I still return the heart that my friend says she never gives. without him here it feels like an elaborate facade, how much of this is her web, and how much of it has he spun? how can he mean it? and yet i feel it. sometimes i hear him talking with his friends but hes miles away. strange. for now ill play my role as a “beautiful little fool” because the promise of being held feels so damn good. His touch brings me comfort in ways i never could have fathomed. And ill thank my friend for now, who knows if shes right about the two of us.

 I thought it was gone, but it turns out I can’t let the idea of it go.

I got that little twinge, and sure enough he un added me. 

I should have un aded him a while ago, as my friends said.

but you know how it goes

and honestly I'm surprised he hadn't removed me sooner

but what can you do 

heres to the first time I had something mutual and screwed it up

heres to my first date

it could have been worse 

and I guess its ok it ended this way. 

but i hope from time to time he gets that little twinge too
