1,7,9 and 50 for your Inquisitor
1. What’s their full name? Why was that chosen? Does it mean anything?
Tamras Lavellan. I chose the name Tamras just because it rolled off the tongue and you could do some fun things with it, and it sounded pretty elfy. It also reminded me of Tamlen from Dragon Age: Origins, who is one of my favourite characters.
7. Did they have lots of friends as a child? Did they keep any of their childhood friends into adulthood?
Since Tamras was the First, he didn’t get to spend much time with other members of his clan and was often with the Keeper learning how to control his magic and how to lead. He had a few friends who he could find time for, including his sister, but as he got older his duties became more time consuming and he didn’t have time for friends.
9. Do animals like them? Do they get on well with animals?
Tamras loves animals and animals love him. His favourite animal is a rabbit, because he finds them incredibly cute and fast. A close second is foxes. He really hates bears though, since they always sneak up on him and the gang in the Hinderlands.
50. If they could only take one bag of stuff somewhere with them: what would they pack? What do they consider their essentials?
He’d definitely bring a few lyrium potions, just in case, and one of his small books about demons and what to do if you encounter one. He’s paranoid about that kind of stuff, so those would be his essentials. He’d probably bring some spare clothes, just because he gets into really weird scenarios after joining the Inquisition and loves to splash around in puddles. After that he’d probably just throw in some stuff in case he gets lost, like a map.
