We begin our adventure here! But why 2 volume? Simply, Volume 1 had very alterations (NO CENSORSHIP), all done in the first TokyoPop Release. Real "Authentc" TP

For standard printing differences

TokyoPop originally used HOLOGRAPHIC COVERS (and special hardcover versions for libraries). This would change later

Color pages are black and white in almost TokyoPop releases. Forums claim English color versions exist and scans online have them but I've never seen it in real life

Now a weird one. TokyoPop changed a reference to Obake no Q-Taro (an early manga by Doraemon creator Fujiko Fujio. Official English name "Q the Spook" as of a rare 1971 English version only availible in Japan) to 80's cartoon "The Real Ghostbusters.

Luckily, Volume 1 got a fan translation before TokyoPop got the license so I can compare IN ENGLISH

the Japanese text around Keroro still has the stylized Q. Whoops

This fan translation also includes the full color pages and is more readily availible online than the TokyoPop version if your region doesn't have the ViZ website

Immediately in Chapter 11 (Page 14), TokyoPop initally let Natsumi's chest uncensored. However by the later publication by ViZ, it's drawn over

TokyoPop covered up Angol Moa's panties in all versions so I'll be using the high quality digital ViZ scan. This won't be the last time they do this but I'm gonna remind you that as of Volumes 1-3. NATSUMI's underwear is never altered. Smooth moves, TokyoPop...

CHAPTER 16! Another Late Stage Natsumi chest edit. This time only her nipples instead of her entire chest (i thought we only censored female nipples cause of boobs). One again, only from ViZ and super late TokyoPop

That's the end of lewdness but as a bonus, one more thing is cut from ALL ENGLISH RELEASES

Evidently, some sort of cross promotion for a manga TokyoPop doesn't own. I don't actually know what this is.

Those of you who know Masami Kurumada probably know him as the creator of Saint Seiya. However, he has made several other series before and after Seiya like B't X, Fuma no Kojiro, and of course, Ring ni Kakero. Evil Crusher Maya is a one shot that came out around the same time as B't X (which is where his art was at its peak), and was published by Enix's Monthly Shonen Gangan in 1996. The protagonist, Maya, is also different from Kurumada's usual shonen MCs, who are high-spirited and hot-blooded. He is instead calm and collected, sometimes broody, but only wants to regain his humanity in the end. Summary of the story as stated in the tankōbon:

From the Land of Dark Night emerges a lone warrior named Evil Crusher Maya, who came to eliminate the Evils lurking in this world! The Evils, planning to re-awaken in the human world, had attacked seven girls in the name of God. Maya's fate after the battle is uncertain. What could have transpired after the battle...!?

Tdoay’s drawing is White. As White can swing his longsword freely with just one of his wrists, there is little need for him to take stances found in human swordplay, so that's something that disappoints me sometimes. It would be fun if he would actually put some effort into swinging his swords and such, but he swings them like they're some sticks hehe. So I drew White handling a sword as if it's heavy for practice..

​The reason White is so obsessed with Baam I think is something that's inevitable. Anyone who becomes a Slayer hates Zahard and the 10 Families, so in a way Baam is someone to hate for every Slayer. Wouldn't it be nice if they Slayers were actually nice to the rookie ^^;

Recently, I've been drawing a lot of animal-people and animals, and it’s hard for me to draw all by myself, so the staff has been helping me a lot. Especially at times like these I want to do my best and make fun comics, but I never know if I'm doing well. Everyone says I'm hard working, but... It may not be easy, but I will work harder. I wonder how many more years this wretched body must draw for it to feel more confident.

You can buy the pre-order here. It feels like you have to buy them as soon as possible since it says limited edition, right? It feels like you have to buy all the previous volumes because it comes with a box, right? haha. I wasn't aware of the exact schedule, but apparently they go on sale starting 14th of July.
