The Leaf-Runners: Lewa's Matoran
Toa Phantoka and their Av-Matoran companions!
Just like my Mahritoran, all 6 are buildable IRL. Once I get my bricklink acct set up, I can try to publish these so anyone can download and order the parts list. (I plan on doing so when I come upon more big kid money)
Here are some BTS pics with clearer view of some areas:
Photok, Tanma, and Solek: Toa of Light
Was playing around with an au and needed to make a visualization of the characters, if stud.io had the noble versions I would have used those, but they unfortunately only had the great version.
Also, I updated my previous Photok moc and changed some parts.
Solek's main color is supposed to be the pearl white since I alreade had white on the others, but I dont think it came off well in the picture so i might change the color
Toa Chronik vs Toa Kra
Long ago I had an idea for a Toa version of the Chronicler's company and not that long ago I had an idea for an evil Toa team of the Metru Nui matoran. The idea for the Toa Chronik was that each Matoran had a different toa team in mind when they were transformed. For the record, Onepu is the new Chronicler after this. A friend on BZP made a version of them once. Meanwhile in another universe part of Teridax’s plan involved the abduction of the Great Disk Matoran after the return to Metru Nui and their transformation into dark Toa with the use of Shadow Leeches and a stolen Toa Stone. These Toa wear dark armor and resemble a mix of Hordika and Rahkshi. After some shenanigans they end up in the main universe to confront the Toa Chronik. Toa Of Fire- Kapura- Inspired by the stories of the Toa Hagah. Wielding twin Pyro Daggers Kapura uses his Kualsi to move around the battlefield with ease.
Toa of Inferno- Nuhrii- With his shadow flames Nuhrii burns all he sees. A task made easier with his Kalis Mask of Laser Vision. He uses his Blaze Burner to launch flames as far as he wishes and uses the bayonet on the end for close quarter combat.
Toa of Water- Macku- Inspired by the stories the Toa Mahrii told. Macku wears a Kakama with a special breathing adapter to zoom around beneath the waves as she uses her Tidal Trident to defend against evil.
Toa of Floods- Vhisola- Mistress of the shadow waves Vhisola loves to use her Lebab Mask of Incomprehension to confuse groups of enemies and pick them off with her Coral Crossbow.
Toa of Stone- Hafu- Inspired by the stories of the Toa Inika. A crafter at heart he carries the Carver's Hammer. He uses his new Kiril to repair damage to his carvings.
Toa of Mountains- Ahkmou- Ahkmou commands the shadow stones in battle. He uses his Fazet Mask of Density to phase through enemy blows and increase the density of his Meteor Mace moments before impact.
Toa of Earth- Taipu- Inspired by the stories of the Toa Metru. Keeping his Ruru he uses his Terra Drill Lance to dig through the earth.
Toa of Quakes- Tehutti- With his Xirak Mask of Fragmentation Tehutti shatters the very ground below his enemies with his Seismic Spear and buries them in shadow earth.
Toa of Air- Tamaru- Inspired by the stories of the Toa Mangai. With his skill of air and his Volitak Tamaru can be as silent as a gentle breeze. His main tools are a pair of Kanoka Air Shredders, kanoka launchers with blades attached, but he uses multiple other tools such as an arm mounted Rhotuka Launcher and a Volo Lutu Launcher for quick travel. Basically the Bionicle version of the Predator.
Toa of Storms- Orkahm- Slow and methodical Orkham calls on the shadow air to fight. With his Lomos Mask of Slowness he brings even the fastest enemy to a crawl leaving them wide open for his twin Cyclone Cannons. In a pinch he can attach the cannons to his back as jet boosters.
Toa of Ice- Kopeke- Inspired by the stories of the Toa Mata and Nuva. With his Rode he finds and defends the truth while swinging his Arctic Axe at those who would threaten the peace.
Toa of Blizzards- Ehyre- Ehyre’s shadow ice chills to the core. His favorite tactic is to freeze foes with his Ice Sickles before shattering them with his Descari Mask of Power Scream.
Toa of Light- Tanma- Leader of the Toa Chronik. Inspired by legends of the Toa Cordak. With his Mahiki Tanma can create solid illusions of light to confuse his enemies leaving them open to a blast of light from his Sol Shield.
Toa of Shadows- Vultraz- As sadistic and cruel as always Vultraz leads the Toa Kra. Wearing the Kraahkan Mask of Shadows his control of the darkness rivals that of a Makuta. His Darkness Daggers can cut through even light itself.
Green Matoran. Piruk was my favorite to make!

As I look back upon my long life, I know that not all would agree with my path. Least of all some of those whom I have held dearest to my own heartlight. But I will not apologize, and although I cannot say I have no regrets, I will say I have few. This is not a memoir. But I thought it fitting to record a brief explanation of my mind's landscape as I sit to write these words. Forgive me if they are clumsy. I am no chronicler. But this must be done. I have always done what must be done. Only what must be done. From my days as a matoran, this was the case. And travelling into my life as a toa. Times were peacable then, and I had good teachers and good friends. But I realized that some of the things I taught myself to do, the ways I taught myself to fight, the details I taught myself to notice, they would not have taught me. They thought them odd. Out of place, I suppose, with what a toa is supposed to be. I imagine, if you are reading this, that you are too young to remember the days in which the Order of Mata Nui betrayed us. I hope for your sake that you do not remember. Though few trusted the order much or thought of them very warmly, their foolishness was still a crushing blow in the hearts and minds of many. Of course, they only thought they were doing what was right. Though they knew it not, they were simply an order without purpose after the fall of the great titan. They refused to change. To adjust their understanding of what must be done. My heartlight holds no warmth for the Order. And yet in their absence I felt a hole. A missing piece. For on one matter they were correct: there will always be that which must be done. The strictures of the toa code cannot be relied upon to solve every problem. And there will always be a need for those with the resolve to walk a path on the edge of shadow. It was with this in mind that I knew I must train even harder and be ready. And it is with this in mind that I have begun what I expect to be my life's work as a turaga. If you are truly ready to walk this path with me, then in this volume I hope you will find guidance that is helpful to you. The great beings must have had a sense of humor when they designed us, for it is our element that is better suited than any other to the techniques of subterfuge, deception, and manipulation. This is not an easy life. By learning what I have to teach, you are taking on the responsibility to sully yourself with shadow when doing so is necessary to defend those who walk in the light. You must be committed. You must remember the three virtues and hold them close in a way that few others will agree with. I trust you understand these things, but do not read further until you are ready. When you do, though, welcome to the Order of Twilight. Turaga Tanma
Really old picture of an AU I had
Once upon a time I wanted to make story about a bunch of Av-matoran that never got to expand their characters. One of the ideas was that the matoran in question would at least be partially influenced by Makuta Teridax, as the villain of the story would've been Mutran.
The story didn't get anywhere... hopefully that changes soon
welcome back to humanized bionicles today the menu has Creepers from the Deepers (yet to be creepified), unwilling inhabitants of Australia-But-Worse's Atlantis, and flying kids who beat the shit out of each other in the heart of God
