O Allah, make my spine a pillar of sincerity, my words a fortress for the vulnerable, and my work a shade of protection that outlives me. Let every line of code I secure, every warning I whisper, and every boundary I help draw be an act of remembrance of You—The Protector (Al-Hafiz), The Guardian (Al-Wakil), The Truth (Al-Haqq). Forgive my stumbles, for I approach not as a scholar, but as a lover reaching through the work of my hands. Ameen.

found this cool (Indonesian i think?) Taqwacore Heavy Metal band :3
if you havent seen alr or need a reminder to rewatch everyone go watch the birth of punk islam: taqwacore on youtube!! its so insightful and interesting and gives such a genuine and powerful glance at a movement thats been muffled over the years by tradition and ethnocentrism. very radical and important film as a precursor to the novel: the taqwacores by michael muhammad knight for me, whos backstory and narrative are inspiring in a league of their own which is not to focus singularly on his race, but the ways in which his personal history aid in narrowing down his path to self discovery. def gonna read it and give my thoughts
