Honestly, Vax is just another Mary Sue to me now. You’re 100% spot on about him having no real flaws, just fake flaws that are lowkey flattering.

I don’t like using that term because of how gendered it’s become but…yeah, basically. 

Vax is the first angsty OC of a 14-year-old boy who’s grown up with Buffy the Vampire Slayer and internalized enough entry-level Joss Whedon feminism to know that capable girls who can kick his ass are totally hot man and they really appreciate a sensitive guy who can tell them how hot they are while he stands back and lets them take care of the bad guy because that’s So Empowering.

6. Who builds a pillow fort?

GRIGOR omfg not even a question. that boy is still a child at heart in so many ways because he was really denied that childhood, so he tries to embrace it now that he’s reached ~maturity and ~adulthood and can make his own rules. nancy rolls her eyes every time but at the same time can’t help being ridiculously endeared to how cute he is (and ofc the pillow fort sex that follows helps plenty to convince her regardless)

7. Who plans the romantic date?

ALSO GRIGOR because nancy is AWFUL at the romance crap. I mean she forgot her anniversary in lieu of going on a case! she always insists she’ll be better and might even plan something herself one of these days but of course it never happens, and grigor is totally fine with that, because he can be more than romantic enough for the both of them (and he is!! that boy cries at every lifetime movie he watches, which is basically all of them)

8. Who likes to play with the other’s hair?

grigor is very used to not being able to touch his hair due to being on stage and it being hairsprayed to shit and he’s kind of weirded out by people touching his hair because??? why??? and yet he’s a total hypocrite because he loooooooves to play with nancy’s hair (and that of their daughter(s), once that rolls around), because it’s so soft and long and nice and looks so pretty when he braids it (because he is an expert at braiding hair, let’s face it)

9. Who calms the other down when the other has a nightmare?

you know, I think both of them have nightmares from time to time, especially given their chosen professions, but I think frank might actually suffer from night terrors (did I get that idea from you, @detectively​? am I making that up in my head? I feel like I got this from you), and ofc nancy is always there for him when that happens. they usually get up, go into the kitchen, have scrambled eggs, and maybe enjoy a tea or warm milk with honey before finally going back to bed

10. Who wants their dog to sleep on the bed with them?

HAHAHA, absolutely nancy. I mean, frank and joe grew up with playback, the parrot, but nancy has always had togo, and seeing as he “was there first”… nancy insists that frank just has to accept that he’s always going to be taking up frank’s foot room (and looking so darn smug about it, too, every time!) :D

11. Who can’t sleep without the other?

you know, I feel like nancy could sleep through anything (she claims she wakes up at the slightest disturbance, though), but frank used to be a bit of an insomniac. and seeing as he used to sleep in the same room as his brother, he’s used to having another person in the vicinity. so when they move in together, he suddenly finds that he falls asleep insanely quickly, and always sleeps through the night! of course, the downside to this is that, when nancy is off on a case, he realizes that he’s fucked, because he can’t sleep a wink without her there

12. Who is too nice and will listen to a sales person pitch?

oh, ABSOLUTELY nancy. scott would overhear her being too polite, get up, say “not interested, thx” and slam the door in their face while nancy sputters, all “you didn’t have to be so rude about it!” at which point scott rolls his eyes, tells her that yes, he did, and that she’s too nice for her own good while rounding on his heel and going straight back to his computer as though nothing happened

13. Who makes the first move to cuddle?

you know, neither of them strike me as particularly cuddle-happy, buuut I feel like scott would actually be the one to defy expectations. he’s the one that puts an arm (ok lbr it would be both) around the back of the couch when they’re watching a movie, and he’s definitely the one that picks up her feet, sits down, and sets them into his lap (which then turns first into footrubs and then occasionally moves… higher), buuut even tho they normally sleep on their sides facing away from each other (scott sometimes sleeps on his back, but nancy is a certified side-sleeper), there are some nights, when things were very rough on him, that he rolls to face her, scoots over, and pulls her close to spoon her, and if she asks or makes a quip about this sudden, unexpected intimacy from him, he grumbles at her to shut up and just pulls her closer

14. What is their go-to fast food place?

ok so you really need only look at the man’s work space to know that he lives on fast food (I want to know how long nancy holds out before she just gets a maid because she is tired of cleaning up after him), and I feel like nancy is firmly anti-fast-food (the closest she comes to fast food is panera, which he occasionally begrudgingly agrees to), so they compromise and meet in the middle: store-bought frozen pizzas

Yeah, absolutely! Like, Percy is the king of one-liners and making deals, Vex has her haggling and persuasion and even flirting, and Scanlan is a straight up born deceiver with a heart of gold. They’re all really good with words and, with the possible exception of Percy, really good with deception. In a world brought to life by talking, they are master manipulators.

Oh god. Unless I talk to people on a daily basis or I see them on my activity a lot then I have not a single clue who my mutuals are off the top of my head. Honestly. But these are the people who put up with me pretty frequently either here or on separate groupchats. This is in no particular order so don’t feel less loved if you’re near the bottom by the way. There’s plenty of Kryzz to go around :p

@hedawolf - My little Vitus. Probably one of my oldest mutuals. We’ve been mutuals for years and have been enemies for just as long. We bicker like an old married couple and call each other names, but I know she loves me (more than I love her. I don’t love her at all. yuck! GROSS)

@taryondarringtons and @acrocera - This groupchat is the worst but I somehow put up with them. It takes a lot of courage and patience, but I do it anyway. Mostly because we really have a burning hate for a lot of the same people/things jkhgskjldfg

i was gonna message this to you but i feel like the rest of your stalkers would be interested as well lmao: what are your top 5 tv shows in terms of writing/characterization/etc and your top 5 guilty (or not so guilty) pleasure shows that you could watch anytime anywhere that make you just feel good??

Pretend this didn’t take me like a month to answer because I know you love me anyway.
