Left a rambling comment on chapter 18 of TAXI! when I first read the fic (I'm HiIm on ao3) and I promised fanart, so here it is! Not a lot, I know, but I'm planning on making some more soon! :D (I drew him with a mix of my own Xisuma design and other people's drawings of TAXI Xisuma)

The scream I scrumpt when I saw this EEEE IT'S MY GUY LOOK IT'S MY GUY (<- totally normal. trust.)

I love your design of him!! The long hair is a fabulous touch, I will always support Xisuma with long hair. And the piercings!! (I think the lip ones are called snakebites?? Idk piercings. Whatever they are they're sick as hell.)

This is why I'm glad I kept Xisuma's description vague in this fic; it's up to the artist how they want to interpret and create their own design, and I've seen some stunning designs. I love it!!! Thank you so much!!!

Okokkok so I might sound a LITTLE BIT CRAZY, BUT! I read one singular line from TAXI (Totally And Xisumally Insane) (ive reread that thing at LEAST 4 times the whole way through, it is a MASTERPIECE!!!!) by @inquillitory

ANYWAY! Y'know this interaction?

This one throwaway line? (keep reading under the cut bc this got crazy long somehow)

I've… I've been obsessed with the idea of a fencer!Xisuma idea for SO LONG NOW!!!!! He just casually did fencing for like 10 years and was in competitions for 5 and could have gone to the olympics but needed to drop training because it was becoming too expensive?????

So in my delusions the above interaction would go literally the EXACT SAME except Xisuma would say "I'm sorry, that was mean. And it's called a sabre." and the others would think he was JOKING!!!!

Until. Until ONE DAYY!!! There's like a hermit picnic in the park, and some random guy with long pink hair comes up to Xisuma and taps him on the shoulder. When Xisuma turns around, he throws a big stick at him, and holds up his own, and then they're SWORDFIGHTING??? AND XISUMA'S GOOD AT IT????

Then they finish the fight, chat for a second, exchange phone numbers, and then X sits down like nothing happened.

Anywho, the Hermits help Xisuma get back into fencing, and then one day, X opens a letter adressed to him, and its from the OLYMPICS!!!! And wfeoshdgfi I'm just imagining the scene where he freezes at- actually know what I'm gonna write it. My skills are nowhere near yours, @inquillitory but I tried my best.

"- and a letter for X!" Ren says, reading out the list of mail retrieved from the box.

Xisuma muttered a small thank you to Ren, taking the offered letter. Who was sending him letters? His parents and Ex would have called, the only other people he really knew out side of the Hermits were his fencing friends, and they had a group chat. So who would send a letter?

The envelope was crisp and white, simply addressed to Mister Xisuma Voyde. He turned it over, and carefully tore it open. He let the envelope fall to the kitchen counter, pulling out the equally crips letter, with…

With five very recognisable interconnecting circles in the corner.

Any sleepiness or fatigue from the morning  disappeared, as Xisuma hastily unfolded the letter, heart racing and hands trembling.

"It is with our greatest pleasure from those of us at the United States Olympic committee would like to invite you to join us for the 20XX Olympics. If you choose to accept…"

Holy shit. He got in. Holy shit.

Keralis seemed to notice Xisuma hadn't moved from where he opened the letter. "What's wrong darling?"

Wordlessly, Xisuma showed him the letter. Keralis muttered the words under his breath, before also stilling, and turning to Xisuma. "Oh my god."

"I know!"

"Oh my god!"

"I know!"

"Mind telling us what you two are freaking out about over there?" Grian asked, cereal left on the counter in favour of looking at the two in amusement.

"I- I got. I was…" Xisuma tried to stutter out the words, but his shaking hands seemed to affect his speech as well. Keralis quickly swooped in to save him.

"Our Shashwammy just got into the Olympics!"

The Hermit House was silent for a singular moment, before chaos broke out.

"He WHAT?!"

Ok so I'm not the best at writing, but I have a VISION!!!!!

I literally do not know how I got this much from a single line. But I will now be making up random scenarios about fencer!xisuma for ever and ever.

And I also have like... alternate versions of this au, where the hermits didn't find out until they're watching the Olympics (Not bc X kept it a secret, he honestly thought they knew!) and suddenly X is on TV and he's IN THE OLYMPICS!??!?!?! But logically they would find out before then. But imagine the silly hijinks... I feel like Wels would know after the sleepover and works to keep it a secret bc he thinks its HILARIOUS.
