Did she see the way Killian fought and rushed into battles, using herself as a shield to protect others and think of Magnus?
Did she keep Lucas around because he reminded her so much of Barry and she couldn’t bare to leave him even though he wasn’t a full member of the Bureau?
Did Avi’s laid back nature and willingness to help bring a lighthearted air to stressful situations remind her of Merle?
Did Garfield’s flair remind her of Taako and even through his craziness she couldn’t bare to not have him on the base?

my qpr is listening to The Adventure Zone: Balance for the first time and we got to the prophecy. His best thought process as follows:
Lucas is the lonely journal keeper. Qpr built a theory that the birds were people who used the relics/got corrupted by them. Next he, as a joke, posited Davenport is the wordless one, and laughed when I confirmed until going “for real??” Next he declared the Gaia sash was associated with the lover (never elaborated) so it must be Sloane. But he got stumped at Gundren given minimal information. And then thought about how many people had been corrupted in wars.
Back to the drawing board. The birds are anti hunger so the people are those who defeat the relics! Also it can’t be one of tres horny boys because “it’s not fair if only one is in the prophecy.” Lucas still Journal Keeper since he flipped. Curly is the lover. Killian?? Defeated the phoenix fire gauntlets as the protector? Director is the peace maker. She’s not fighting actively but deeply involved. Managing = peace keeping not in the field fighting like a protector. Keep peace through forgetting. No wait. Peace keeper is the voidfish. And on the train- hell. Sure it’s Graham. The wizard could be a twin! (Me: wh. Which wizard??) Graham the juicy wizard could be the twin! Davenport could have a twin Lucretia could merel could! Griffen could have a twin! YOU could have a twin! You cannot tell who a twin is without meeting both. I made a weird hesitant noise about if we’ve meet the twins. Angry when I confirm that we’ve met one twin (sorry Lup he asked about named characters). His response: “GREAT CHOICE THERE WOW THATS THE WORST ONE. FILING THAT ONE UNDER NOT TOUCHING.”
And lastly: “Is any of the pcs in the prophecy and is it merle.”
anyway I kinda want an AU where he’s right. It would be hilarious
