Lately, there had been rather disturbing reports around town of strange growling and howling noises at night, and bloodied bones with scraps of meat being found near the edge of the woods. There were even reports of some huge, furry creature having been sighted, far too large to be a wolf or a cougar...

At this point, Sonic was practically crawling on all fours, back hunched and body trembling violently as the electricity continued to course through him. He couldn’t sleep and he could barely eat, he was in so much pain.

He was generating so many sparks that he was scorching the grass around him, causing wisps of smoke to rise up around his trembling form.

There's a knock on Kyle's door, followed by a faint "Anyone home?" Hm, sounds like Michael. But he hasn't been around for almost a year, wonder who it could be if not him!

Kyle felt his heart leap up into his throat at the very familiar voice, eyes widening as he started jogging towards the front door. Michael? But... it had been years since he last saw him...!

Was this some kind of sick prank? Kyle would have no way of knowing until he opened up the door. So he did...
