Had an offender get stabbed in the head 3 times. He lived, but had to get life flighted because an artery was cut and wouldn't stop bleeding. A shard of the shank was stuck in one of the wounds and had to be pulled out. Offender claimed he had fallen and hit the table in the dayroom. Without mussing a beat my Sgt. asked him how many times.

Every day I go to work I am required to go through a search process that includes having all of my stuff x-rayed and physically searched, along with me walking through a metal detector and being pat searched. Usually, while the female officer pat searches me the male officer goes through my stuff, but a few days ago the male officer refused to even touch my stuff because he was to scared and disgusted to touch the tampons and pads I had brought in with me. The officer searching me, and every other female in the room, rolled her eyes so hard i swear they were going to fall out. How is it 2017 and men are still fucking scared and think it's disgusting and shameful to be on your period? Men are weak.

When it's hot, loved ones are dying of heat related problems or suffering health related issues to the extreme heat in Texas with no ac... and when it's cold, ... those same walls are torturing people still. there is no escaping it and NO just because a person is in prison does NOT mean they DESERVE it. You have a lot of growing as a person and in yourself if you think like that. You are guilty, too. So you've never been to prison; doesn't mean you're a saint, doesn't make you judging other people acceptable and doesn't mean you are better than anyone. If that's the way you think, please, educate yourself.
