lorna grew up extremely self conscious of her green hair and dyed it as a result to a black color to hide her mutant status. after joining the underground she’d wear it green when with others like her but still wore black out. now she tries to go green as often as possible to show who she is, but sometimes for stealth operation she has no choice but to wear dye. the main difference is that it’s always temporary now where it was permanent before

even though it was never confirmed he was her father, lorna always knew erik and was desperate for her aunt to say something. meeting him was disappointing because he was exactly what she expected, but over time they’ve former a better relationship. lorna knows she ca put erik in his place now if need be.

she didn’t really see the twins as her siblings for a long time as they had never met and  the only thing they have in common: their father. now she knows them better. she tried to shoot pietro and she doesn’t mind wanda even though they’re very different.

she and her father have opposite polarities, so lorna always has a vague sense of where he is, which was a feeling she could never place as a child

while lorna misses her birth mother she never got to know her and often wonders who and what it is exactly that she’s supposed to be missing

lorna actually did eat grass as a child but won’t admit to it as it had nothing to do with her hair

her favorite threat is to tell people she is going to drop a refrigerator on them but she does think that throwing things at mutant children is an effective training mechanism

lorna has potential to be as powerful as her father but doesn’t know how to tap into it. ever since she had dawn she’s been closer.

she’s a fighter and very reactive. the underground kept her around as they would rather fight with her than against her and she knew that. she knew it was also true at the hellfire club. krakoa feels more like home.

being bipolar was something lorna grew up knowing about and as a result she hates being called ‘crazy’ and gets mad when people insinuate her emotions are because of her manic episodes

marcos was the only one allowed to talk about her mental illness but lorna knew that he never understood fully what it was like

having dawn changed lorna’s body and her powers and she still hasn’t figured out what that meant for her in the long run

lorna loved marcos and a part of her she always will. she just knows that they’re in different spots and shouldn’t be together. they’re in different places, but they’ll always be fond of each other and both love dawn / want the best for her

lorna secretly hopes dawn isn’t a mutant so her daughter will never know the persecution she had to face

acting out as a teen was the only way she ever knew how to deal with her rage

she started dropping knives over her chest and catching them when she was down and wouldn’t stop even though marcos hated it, but after dawn she did because she didn’t want to leave her daughter without a mother

her nightmares have been known to break items in the room

growing up, lorna hated her father and couldn’t understand him. she never was able to throw out that medallion though and now she gets it. she understands and even if she doesn’t like she realizes how similar they are becoming

the events of the gifted took place during the five years of thanos’ snap. right before it happened she was arrested and institutionalized

lorna had been dating gambit pre arrest, but after she ended up being bailed out  by  the x-men and the two lost each other. she’d later end up with marcos.

all the frosts are awful, but lorna considers esme her friend. she knows she’s better than hellfire violence

on krakoa lorna is a bit of a freelancer. she lives there full time in the house of m and has worked with the marauders, x-men: blue and other teams.

although she dropped out of high school, lorna has used her time and resources on the island to start working on her masters

due to her upbringing, wanda never really considered herself a mutant. with everything that’s happened she’s decided to try and be more involved with that and her family

despite their weird conception, wanda genuinely cares for billy & tommy

growing up she was incredibly co-dependent on pietro. he was a security blanket and emotional crutch. losing him meant that wanda had to find herself and she’s still learning to do so

her vision is gone and wanda knows that. she can’t replace him, but she also can’t ignore him because he makes her days a little less sad

until peter came around, wanda was the youngest avenger. they helped her get us citizenship and her ged

being on the run wasn’t bad for wanda as edinburgh was nice and the vision visited. she still has the apartment but doesn’t often go there because of the memories. she just can’t bring herself to get rid of it.

steve was one of her favorite avengers because he was always there for her despite her mistakes. clint is the one who feels like family, and while she’s welcome on the farm wanda likes to give him space

as it  currently stands, wanda has no idea what she’s capable of or what her powers can do. the decimation showed her she has a lot of potential. even since sokovia fell she’s learned to be confident in her growing abilities

wanda can get onto krakoa without help and has a room at her fathers house ( the house of m ) and she stays there on occasion to try and build relationships.

she won’t admit it to herself, but jessica was beginning to think that maybe, just maybe, she could be a hero when kilgrave came into her life. after that she realized she couldn’t save herself, let alone anyone else

jessica became pregnant with kilgrave’s child but ended it after she escaped from him, a difficult choice that she was never certain about. she later envied how easy the choice was for hope even though she supported her. the full meta on it is here.

after she got away from kilgrave, jessica felt like she had to cut ties with trish. she hadn’t been a hero, she’d been a failure, and she couldn’t stand to see the pity on her friends face. she had always been the one to protect trish, help her get clean, and she couldn’t bear knowing that trish would know about what had happened to her. so, she shut her out. she didn’t let trish see how she fell apart after she had tried to help trish get together. she planned on calling one day when she was ‘over it’, but the more she drank the longer time stretched on and eventually she was too embarrassed and didn’t know what to say

jessica was a social drinker before kilgrave. after she walked away from reva’s murder in a daze and didn’t know what to do. she walked into her apartment that had been sitting empty and drank the only non-expired thing in here: some alcohol. she didn’t stop after that. even though she became a functional alcoholic, jessica never considered other drugs

she struggled to call herself an alcoholic, even when she was one. she was just ‘coping’

after escaping from kilgrave, jessica would stand for hours in the shower trying to wash the feeling of him off of her but she never could

the p.i. thing kind of just happened it was a welcomed distraction for jessica to focus on how ruined everyone’s lives were instead of her own.

post kilgrave she threw out all dresses she owned and bought two pairs of jeans, a sweatshirt and a few other basics from a thrift store to get as far away from the dress up that kilgrave had forced her into

she has a strong aversion to the color purple

jessica breaks a phone cord at least once a week

jessica jones loved patricia walker more than she loves herself. it’s not a romantic love but platonic, one coming from two people who grew up defending each other. she would shoot herself in the head if it meant keeping trish safe. trish always saw the best in her, even when she couldn’t see it herself.

she still loves trish, but it’s harder now. different. she sees trish and remembers how she killed her mother and jessica feels like she’s lost all of her family now. she didn’t quit on trish and refused to kill her, even though it meant trish attacked and injured her.

upon returning from the snap jessica tried to hunt down trish but the two haven’t reconnected yet

she thinks her anger management treatment is stupid so she has not yet attempted to get any kind of help for her ptsd

fighting ninjas was the dumbest shit ever but she knew she had to

the anniversary of hope’s death is one of the hardest times of the year for her

losing matt murdock had a strange effect on jess: she realized she should have died as less people cared about her and he was actually doing good for others. now the asshole is back. whatever.

she didn’t know what a spleen was until she lost hers and she’s really fucking pissed about it.
