callum saying "i used to babysit my little brother all the time" makes me think that, despite a castle full of capable staff, he was the child put in charge of the smaller child, either because a) he wanted to or b) harrow had him do that for bonding purposes and i like both options
Quick little comic before I go away forever (my semester started)
But this is my reasoning behind Ezran’s hair 🙂↕️
Thinking about how The Dragon Prince is simultaneously about the cycle of violence in the world and ending generational trauma and also about the relationships between parents and children and also about the process of grief and making peace with various forms of loss both personal and cultural and growing something new out of the ashes and also every possible form of love
I'M STILL GOING CRAZY OVER THE FACT THAT EZRAN HAD TO HAVE EXPLAINED THE BIRD THING TO CALLUM.
CALLUM DREW THAT PICTURE OF PIP FOR CORVUS, SOREN, AND TERRY. EZRAN HAD TO GO INTO CALLUM'S ROOM AND BE LIKE,
"Hey big bro.. So uhmm... DadgotturnedintoabirdbyLordVirusandIneedyoutodrawapictureofPipsothatSorenCorvusandTerrycanfindhim!!"
GOD DAMNIT DRAGON PRINCE WRITERS, LET ME SEE THAT SCENE IN ALL OF ITS EMOTIONAL AND AWKWARD GLORY! LET ME SEE IT!!!!!!!!!!!
One of my favorite choices of s7 actually comes from a single sentence.
"I can't be your high mage anymore, but I'll always be your brother"
The decision for Callum to step down from his position as high mage originally made me kind of upset but I realized that it actually makes a lot of sense. And Callum's decision to step down was actually a very mature choice, and not a rash one made in haste like I originally mistook it for. And I think that for both ez and callum's sake, he shouldn't be high mage.
You're my brother, and you mean everything to me.

crying on his knees with a hand on his shoulder because he thinks he’s lost Ezran along with Katolis
