Part 13 - Chamomile tea is most commonly known for its calming effects and is frequently used as a sleep aid. Chamomile is a pretty, elegant, and fragrant herb that belongs in the Asteraceae plant family, which when steeped, creates a tasty, perfumey brew.

Teas and the occasions upon which to drink them

English Breakfast: Waking up with itchy red eyes that were strained from the dim light of a candle by which you read by into the wee hours of this morning.

Earl Grey: Sitting outside on a bench of cast iron and wood.  Your eyes are closed and the sunshine is gently warming your face.  In your lap is a notebook you write in will a circular tea stain from resting your cup on it.

Chamomile: Winding down for bed after an already long evening/night of studying Latin, pouring over phrases and writing hand-scribbled notes to yourself of things you must remember in the morning.

Peppermint: After the victory of a debate with a colleague, your face is still warm from the argument, but your mind is racing, already pulling new facts from obscure books.

chamomile: journaling in a gorgeous mess of scrawls and doodles and notes, plants surrounding the room, exclusively wearing florals, “save the bees” posters on every wall, spinning in ballgowns in the dressing rooms at stores, soft lip gloss, retro glasses

lavender: glittery red nail polish, crimson lipstick, corduroy miniskirts, heels that could kill a man, fleetwood mac records spinning on a turntable, confident smirks and loud bubbly laughter, the feeling of freedom that comes with a rush of adrenaline

ginger peach: polaroid pictures, nostalgic songs, warm knit cardigans and worn out jumpers, the smell of vanilla, adores the sun, probably super athletic, spinning their friends in a laugh-filled dance when their favorite song comes on, fairy lights, troye sivan constantly playing in the background

matcha: cashmere sweaters and tartan scarves, loves vellichor (the smell of old books) more than anything, bags stuffed to the brim with books, fancy pens and journals filled with looping script, indie music filling the room, dreams full of their characters and the worlds in their head
