A sweet and smooth high-quality sencha that provides great bang for your buck. I just had to give cold brewing it a try and the result had a ton of flavor and complexity.
Great review of IKKYU sencha by Nicole @teaformeplease -- Thank you very much!
It was our pleasure to send her a bag of one of our sencha from Yame (Ayumi high-grade sencha) and it looks like it was a blast. Have a look.
It’s a joy to share our love for delicious green tea from Kyushu with tea enthusiasts and connoisseurs all around the world!
✨🖤☕️ NEW on the BLOG☕️🖤💫 . Guuuuuud mornin! Fueled by tea and creativity. ☕️🖤✨ . Happy Monday, moonbeams. I’ve been super busy wrapping up a lot of loose ends for the Sparkle Art Market that’ll be held this weekend at @dandelioncafe. And by loose ends, I mean a boatload of fresh, new jewelry designs, sustainable headwraps, keycharms, + dreamers.🙊 You can catch a glimpse in my story. This week is going to get crazy and that kinda makes me giddy. We have a Friendsgiving, family from both sides coming into town for Thanksgiving, a housewarming party for our friends, then the #SparkleArtMarket on December 1st (oh yeah, all while working a full week at my day job). Wish me luck. 🙈🖤🦃💫 . How does your week look for you? . #makerslife #bohoblogger #advancedselfie #teaformeplease (at Orlando, Florida) https://www.instagram.com/p/B5S9D00hk5Q/?igshid=c6ncthnzujod

Ya Shi Xiang brewing in my @potsandtea shiboridashi 🍃 🍃 🍃 The translation of this tea's name is "duck shit aroma" but don't let that fool you! The story goes that farmers have it an offensive name so that they could keep it all to themselves. 🦆 🍃 🍃 🍃 #荼 #tea #teaformeplease #gongfu #ilovetea #teablogger #instatea #teagram #teaobsessed #tealover #teaisgood #cupoftea #teaculture #tealife #teastagram #gaiwan #dancong #oolong https://www.instagram.com/p/BzlMFpHgoMX/?igshid=16qwgc8rkfq9o

It’s another Podcast TEAm-Up!
This week the fantastic Teaformeplease (aka Nicole Martin) joins me to discuss a plethora of tea issues while we brew up several teas for review. We’re steeping up a storm and there are plenty of topics to tackle!
A few weeks ago I sent Teaformeplease several teas from my personal collection. These teas weren't your average stock as two of them I had personally created while in Japan.
The other two were unique in their own right. My goal was to offer Teaformeplease something she hadn't reviewed before. I succeeded with Goishicha, a post-fermented tea form Japan’s Kochi Prefecture. If you find yourself bored one Saturday afternoon I suggest ordering some. You’ll be in for a treat!
Lastly I had a good friend purchase some perplexing looking tea from a local Toronto tea shop, Tao Tea Leaf. Tai Ping Hou Kui offers as much in taste as it does in length! Averaging about 3 inches long, these leaves didn't even fit into my gaiwan! They've won several awards throughout China and so Teaformeplease and I were more than happy to indulge our senses.
As we enjoyed our steeps I was curious to hear about Teaformplease’s thoughts on several topics within the tea industry. As the night went on and the cups started to pile up we conversed about tasting methods, getting yourself into tea, eating tea, how to brew tea, tea vessels/cup-ware, water kettles, cooking with tea, and much more. It was a great chance to explore the opportunities tea presents and see how others view tea. If anything were to be concluded it’s this: there is never a right answer and if there is it’s worth debating!
So enjoy this weeks podcast! I've got more lined up for next week as I'm taking you on a journey into Puer!
LEEET’S BREW IT!
