Summary: Iruka has cared for and protected Naruto for as long as he can recall. One fateful night, he was converted into one of the enchanted beings, a vampire. He never wished this on himself or anyone he loved, but he regrets nothing. He would go through death 100 times over to protect his brother. However, he may not be enough to protect Naruto from the evil that is coming for him. In fact, he may be a liability. As much as he hates to admit it, he may need help. And Tsunade knows just the hunter for the job! Too bad Kakashi is an insufferable jerk. Too bad he is also sometimes sweet and cute too. His life is quite a mess, but add into that Sasuke trying to convert early and face a foe much deadlier and stronger than any of them and it adds more than Iruka can handle. He tries to protect Naruto, but ends up costing them both more than they expected. Luckily the bond between Naruto and Iruka is strong enough to overcome any obstacle, even death.

It’d been quite a bit since she talked to any of the Knights.

Er. Right, she did talk to a few more than others-- Dipper, obviously, and Belle, all the time. But the rest of them had only been united to Merida by Fate, and once they’d vanquished the evil and returned to their normal lives, Merida wasn’t sure what to do about all those contacts in her phone. And so they’d started to collect dust, a little. Oh sure, she waved at ‘em ‘round town but... everyone was movin’ on.

For Merida to move on though-- to become an instructor at the gym-- she’d need her fellow knights.

So ah, yeah. She’d reached out, quite awkwardly. Tiana had been the first to text her back, so Merida was swinging by Tiana’s place for a drink at the bar and fifteen minutes of Tiana’s time. She settled at the counter and chugged near half her beer to quiet the nerves alone before Tiana finally emerged from the kitchen. 

“Er, ye sure this is a good time?” Merida said, clearing her throat.
