The improvised karaoke night, both dates at the carnivals, their bachelor party mixed at the marbella and many others scenes, demonstrate that Jane and Michael can have/feel their world/life falling apart but still find moments in the middle to enjoy life and get motivated, they could work together and get to a common ground where they will be helping each other.
They were a team.
People on tumblr seems to have forgotten that Michael spent all season one lying to Jane and asked her to abort Mateo (which was ok but to Jane who is very religious is definitely a horrible thing to do).
My point is: STOP ACTING LIKE HE IS PERFECT.

(SPOILERS)
Jane's confusion between genuinely loving Raf and Michael (her husband who was dead) is understandable. She has a right to sort out her feelings. It's insane to believe she could straight up choose one of them like it's simple.
I get that Rafael is angry with her for having feelings for Michael. Let's not forget that Jane broke up with Michael to explore her feelings for Raf in the beginning. Rafael is getting help and treatment for his depression and that's great. But it still doesn't excuse how he's been treating Jane.
Michael was tortured and had amnesia. He had to build an entirely new life. A life he seems content with. And when he met Jane as Jason, he completely disregarded her relationship with Raf. (Much like Raf did in the beginning.) He even belittles her relationship with Michael. He continues to belittle Jane's love of romance. Even with his memories back, Michael is different.
Both men have always been a bit selfish about their relationships with Jane. And Jane, being a people pleaser, has always struggled with what other people want for and from her. She eventually chose to marry Michael. Four years later, she's finding out that even he made choices for her that would eventually make him unhappy. He quit a job he loves because he knew she was afraid. Now, he might go back to being a detective. They don't know that Rose is done with Michael, but who knows what she's planning.
I'll be honest, I never really liked Rafael. He was introduced as a rich-asshole-playboy. It was really easy to hate him. But he's had a great arc and he's a better person now. I sympathize with him and what he's been through regarding his family. But he can still be such a rude person, especially to the people he loves.
Petra used to struggle between Raf and other men. She finally quit them and took her time being a working mother. Although, her mother and Milos (or someone else) are still trying to destroy her happiness, she finally has a wonderful relationship with someone good.
I hope in the end, Jane chooses herself (as cliché as that sounds). It's what's best for all three characters. They've got shit to sort out.
Jane & Michael are endgame
Please let me know if you, like me, watched this week’s Jane the Virgin and need someone to talk about it with.
Sometimes i forget that The CW are actually capable of making funny shows like Jane the virgin and not just heartbreaking shows or really fucked up shows
