Blake: Well they don’t exactly eat you alive. It’s more of a…spectral…consumption vanish-without-a-trace-type of deal…
Adam: That doesn’t answer my question but thanks for that…?
Blake: They’re Grimm, goat boy.
Mercury: You could have just said they’re Grimm in the first place!
Blake: True. But that usually gives people a false sense of security. “Oh, we’ve dealt with Grimm before, no big deal, duhduhdur.”
Neo, sighing: Why do I feel like we still have no idea what these things actually are?
Adam: Because the feral cat won’t tell us.

Blake: They’re like Geists, if instead of possessing things they just…made things disappear.
Blake: Yes. And you can’t really fight them because they’re basically clouds of gas that only really solidify when they’re consuming something. They call them Phantoms, if you’re wondering.
Emerald, shaking: Okay, yeah, great...
Mercury: So that’s why you’re helping us? To protect us from these Phantoms?
Blake: Something like that.
Adam: Do you ever give straight answers?
Blake: Straight’s never been my specialty, am I right Lil Miss Grass for Hair?
