the last sb post for a while for real this time, i promise lmao. wanted to post my submission for @characterhub-com‘s official search for squarepants fanart contest! not really expecting much to come of this in terms of actually winning anything, but it was fun to make at the very least :]

SpongeBob Splatfest Results

Surprised Team SpongeBob was the more popular choice. Thought Patrick was the most popular character in the show. Not surprised Team Patrick won the Battle count. Their players were definitely better.

Can’t say I’ve had as many games where I (I was on Team SpongeBob) would get the other team in “Danger” so many times until the final 30 seconds and then lose. So many times it happened in just this Splatfest, it made me a salty barnacle for a while. 

Had a good run in the end though that got me to SpongeBob King, but not enough to eclipse 1600 SpongeBob power. Still find it suspicious that I get a “Lose Connection to Team” whenever I finally get a good run of wins with a particular squad. But, congrats to Team Patrick. Great players I ran into.

My miiverse contributions to splatfest. I really hope team spongebob wins this! I played during 11am to 2 pm ish and team Patrick were brutal during this time. They would corner us to our spawn point. Then I got back on tonight 10pm to 1am ish and we were winning more matches.

ugh why do the worst connection problems happen when my team is winning?
