I enjoyed a 💞BELATED #GALENTINES 💞 day with these two #RideOrDie sweethearts @leebran and @ami.spring 😍 The three of us met about 7 years ago while training for fitness competitions. ( #TeamBlessedBodies alumni) with coach @fatidaluz411 💞 Goals like that sure bring people together. . It feels amazing to be healthy and start seeing people in person again. The best part about having friends like these ladies is being able to roll into a social occassion with messy hair and not being judged. Also, you know someone is a real friend when it doesn't matter how much time has passed, nobody has to feel guilty, because you just pick up where you left off - isn't that the best kind of friendship?! 😁 . Coach Fatima paid a visit to our Blessed Little Sister Liza

Last weekend our Blessed Little Sister Liza competed in a synchronized swimming event and achieved a personal best! Her coach was thrilled to see Liza beat her previous score by three points. Our founder and head coach, Fatima Leite Kusch was surprised to see what goes on behind the scenes in the life of a competitive national synchronized swimmer. Fatima noticed some similarities between her own Team Blessed Bodies fitness competitors' show day prep, and Liza's swim meet prep.

Did you know that synchronized swimmers plaster their hair with Vaseline to keep their style in place during all of their movement in the water? Did you know that Team Blessed Fitness competitors put Vaseline on their teeth to make smiling effortless on stage? In both of these sports, presentation is equally as important as performance. Fatima saw that Liza has the same types of fabrics and bling on her suits and even wears "stage" makeup like fitness competitors do. It's safe to say that Liza puts in 100% effort and commitment into her sport. She looked beautiful last week! We couldn't have found a more suitable little sister to support with our scholarship funding.

FitnessPrint Clients Lit Up The IDFA West Coast Classic!

Last night, two of our dear clients competed at the International Drug-Free Athletics Association’s West Coast Classic. Eliza and Karen looked beautiful and poised and they lit the stage on fire!

Mindy Ambrose, our IDFA Pro Fitness Model was also in attendance, presenting trophies and awards to competitors. Head Coach Fatima Leite Kusch and Team Support Coach Brandi Gagnon were bursting with pride and excitement for the girls.

Way to represent, Ladies! Congratulations Eliza on achieving 2nd place in Figure Open, and Karin for achieving 1st in Fitness Model short class and 2nd in Masters Fitness Model. We can’t wait to see what you two take on next! Go get it!

Blessed Little Sisters is a teen female athlete sponsorship program created by Fatima Leite Kusch — Pro competitive fitness model, Oxygen Magazine model, and Team Blessed Bodies founder and coach. The newest sponsored little sister is an aspiring Olympic synchronized swimmer named Liza. Liza faces over $20,000 per year in expenses associated with her development, training, and competing as a national level swimmer. Her family feels she may not be able to continue with this level of training for much longer, purely based on the financial stress as she advances in her sport. We fell in love with Liza’s positive attitude and outlook on setting big goals. When we sat down with her and asked what her dream achievement looks like, she said, "…to make it to the 2016 Olympics. Hey, nothing is impossible." She fits right in with our ambitious and goal-driven Fitnessprint Clients. We liked her motto so much that we named our first fundraising initiative after it. Our Team Blessed Bodies “Nothing Is Impossible" $10 donation challenge involves collecting $10-$20 donations to pay for Liza’s first months of Fall 2013 training fees. Our team is working fast — using their creativity to provide all kinds of supports for Liza. This initiative will give us a great head start to assisting her upcoming training season.
