I went away to visit some friends and literally couldn't get ten minutes to actually focus on writing, but that doesn't excuse the other days... it's like the pressure gets to me before I even start typing...

Yes, exactly! Phil had always expected/wanted a romantic bond and then he finds out his soulmate's an NHL player and he's just kind of floored, but he's so excited and the TBD just steamrolls over him and automatically assumes they'll be platonic and Phil's too embarrassed to say anything (the only conversation they ever have about it was something where TBD started awkwardly implying that they obviously couldn't be together because of Phil's appearance and Phil shut that down quickly and they never talked about it again) and he wants to make TBD happy (everyone wants to make their soulmate happy), even if that's by not being with him.

Hahaha I would wake up just before I had to get up too- I also woke up on weekends, I just went back to sleep! I still do wake up, unless I’ve completely exhausted myself the night before.

Staying up too late the night before on days off would actually probably explain how I never woke up at the same time as I would for school.....

It's name-on-wrist soulmates and he's the most romantic soulmate ever. The other guys would make fun of him if they knew. He talks to his soulmate name all the time and says to wish him luck before games and he tells it goodnight.  He's like ten different kinds of in love with his soulmate before he ever meets them. Except he's still Rich Clune and has all of the problems that Rich Clune has had. I just like the dichotomy.

YESSSSS I'm going to try to read it before I have to leave for work (while I rather disgustingly inhale my lunch/early dinner). You writing fluff does throw off the cosmic balance...
