My tech director named me stage manager like 10 minutes before the first rehearsal. He was then mad at me for not knowing the play.

Tech 1: William Afton died 3 times I think.
Tech 2: No he died 2 times. He was crushed to death by the golden bonny suit while being haunted by the souls of the initial 5 kids he killed. the final time was when he burned to death in Pizzeria Simulator in Spring Trap by his son.
Tech 3: he didn't actually die the first time because it says so in the books-

A Reminder For Theatre Majors of All Kinds
At my college, it is required of all theatre majors to take certain classes (Ex: everybody must take Acting I, Intro to Design, and Tech Theatre). A couple of times I’ve heard some fellow theatre majors of mine say how these classes are so pointless based on what type of theatre they want to go into. I think it’s important to remember that these classes aren’t in our curriculums to torture us. They’re a great way to remember that all aspects of theatre requires TONS of hard work and dedication and that should be respected. Because of my Tech theatre class, I have SO much more respect for those who work in Tech because I had no idea there were so many terms and techniques they use! (Not that I didn’t respect them before) Always remember that everyone in theatre, whether you’re an actor, musician, stage manager, or director, is putting in hours and hours of time and passion and that we all must respect each other’s fields. Happy theatre-ing!
the difference between the lighting and sound department heads is great
Sound: One single head, who is a sophomore: autocracy
Lighting: a senior and a sophomore vying for the lead: fuckinnnnn idk
reasons that my tech director is probably a vampire:
1. I have no idea how old he is(he said hes a millenial)
2. I have never seen him outside(except for night)
3. He made a reference to a song and said “You probably won’t know it. It’s an oooolllllldddd song”. The song was “Hips Don’t Lie”.
Just watched a actor take a shot of cold meds like her life depended on it while everyone else yelled “shots shots shots shots”
