Chojo is the second shortest of his club, so he tries to rationalize that that's why he's so unnoticeable by his peers outside of the club. He desperately wants to make friends and loves talking to others about his likes and dislikes, but his presence seems to repel others. This is likely caused by the rumours around the school.

He tells others that it's really just something he likes to do with his hair, but the amount of people who listen to him and the amount of people who hear the gossip is incredibly far apart in number.

Chojo was homeschooled up until middle school, so he doesn't have much experience talking to anyone outside of his family. Because of this, despite his eagerness to talk to others, his uneven way of talking just proves to others that he's not someone they want to talk to. Thus creating his loneliness.

(I think the dark hair colors are working so far. 🤔 We'll see if that lasts.)
