From one dispatcher to another. You, yes you, are doing amazing. I want you all to know that you are loved and supported, and if not, I'm dead. I have seen an increase in dispatcher hate, which is horrible, especially during telecommunicators week. I want you to know I love and support the rest of you with all my heart. To my understaffed teams, if you need help or someone to talk to, please reach out. I will always be here to listen. To my centers experiencing high call volume and having to experience the horrendous people yelling at you, you are doing an amazing job handling the workload. To every single dispatcher who feels like they aren't enough, YOU ARE. I will shout it from the rooftops. We have one of the hardest and emotionally draining jobs, and we do it almost every day. You are loved, supported, and cared for, and I love every single one of you. Don't let the awful people on social media steal your joy and passion for what to do and accomplish every day. You are someone's lifeline; you are the lifeline for our fellow first responders. You are the first contact for many. You help more people than you realize, and we are needed. We are loved and appreciated by those who matter most to us.
