Virtual Boy – Nintendo Classics – Nintendo Direct 9.12.2025

Virtual Boy – Nintendo Classics for Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack subscribers will launch alongside the hardware on February 17, 2026.

To play, you will need Joy-Con 2 or Joy-Con controllers and the dedicated accessory based on the original Virtual Boy hardware, which will be available to purchase from the My Nintendo Store. The upcoming Virtual Boy accessory for Switch/Switch 2 will be priced at $99.99 for the plastic shell or $24.99 for the cardboard option.
