In the protection of the Temperate House, Royal Botanic Garden Kew, London, there was the amazing foliage of Trevesia palmata (snowflake tree, snowflake aralia). This species is indigenous to northern India, southern China, Vietnam and Thailand. In its native habitat this plant can grow up 9 metres (30 feet) tall but it normally less in cultivation.
